First time going to this place I was specifically looking for a great seafood gumbo! The people who run the place said it was a Cajun seafood gumbo but it wasn’t! It was watery like soup. It had no root on it and it only had scrimp and sausage no okra at all! Maybe I just should have gotten the fish or something but it may have been Swai ! Service was not good. I brought my son on a Friday at 7:30 pm and the cashier was so rude. Nobody was in the line but my son and I. She wouldn’t even greet us , little loan ask if we wanted to order. Simple atmosphere but its the meal that matters to this place. The staff are alert as well as polite. They have a great selection on the menu while also having surprisingly good wings. Definitely recommend.

Rocking Crab is a seafood restaurant that sells Cajun/Creole and Southern style food.
But I don’t really like crustacean seafood, so I ordered Chicken Wings.
The Chicken Wing had a crispy texture and was full of juicy meat without drying out, making it unstoppable.
One thing that was really disappointing was that they don’t sell beer.
I think the food they sell here would really go well with beer.
It would be great if this restaurant sells beer or has a BYOB system where customers could bring their own beer.

It’s always great to see students given an opportunity to gain work experience in their community. After the Duncanville Boys Basketball team got the “W” we decided to patronize a local restaurant. I’m not sure if $25 for 1 cluster of snow crab legs, 6 shrimp, 1 small corn on the cob and a few small potato halves is a good price but everything was close to satisfying. The garlic butter sauce was almost flavorless. The corn on the cob was very tasty. The service was ok and the restaurant was clean. If you’re looking for a warm friendly vibe…you won’t get it here. They’re located in the shopping center with Tom Thumb with ample parking and various eating options. I went, I tried. On to the next one.

I had been looking for some great gumbo for awhile now. Well, this is the place that has the best gumbo. You have to try it. The service was excellent. The ambience was excellent as well, please if you are in the area of Duncanville, make sure you order the gumbo. It is off the chain. Gumbo comes in a 32oz cup.

I’ve eaten here in the past when it was a lady taking the orders it was fine. Now it’s a rude older guy taking orders and the shrimp not seasoned just spiced up. I came twice in 1 week and the first time that week, the boiled shrimp was too slimy I came on Thursday and my lips broke out and my Friday night I was super sick. I came back on a Wednesday and when I ordered I asked him to cook the shrimp longer and it was still slimy, I ate one and my lips broke out again! I’ll never go back
