We had lunch here for the first time and it will not be the last time we visit. The service was impeccable. The staff is super friendly. The food was amazing. My husband got the blackened trout with a side of Brussel sprouts. The tenderness and flavor on the fish was spot on. The brussel sprouts had a balsamic glaze on them and were delicious. My children ordered the linguini Alfredo and everything got devoured. I had the Cajun linguini with blackened chicken. I enjoyed every bite of this dish. The toasted buttery bread alongside the pasta was a great addition. I can’t wait to come back and try other items on the menu!

First time for us. Good parking. Restaurant is medium size with outdoor seating also. Facility was clean. Service was very good. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. We had burgers crab cakes pasta and I had pork chop. Best pork chop at a restaurant in a long time. Salad is huge. Burgers were juicy. We had pimento n chip appetizer. Very good. Definitely a return place for us. Large menu so will please all appetites.

Extremely disappointed, I have eaten here quite a few times but this last time was not good. I paid $15 for a to-go entree, drove over 30 minutes and sit down to eat dinner and there is a tiny tiny piece of chicken and like barely any broccoli. It was smaller than a kids meal portion. Definitely a huge waste of $15. I will post a photo and you can see for yourself. This is all it came with.

First time here. The food was good. Service was good. The place is nice inside and comfy. We sat next to a window and it was in the 20°’s no cold drafts inside. I was concerned about being cold being next to the big window. The French fries were delicious and the mushroom and cheese burger was cooked medium as I asked.

Got the double dip and Alfredo with the blackened fillet with a double protein portion, which seemed a little light, but it tasted delicious. Our server Mandy did a great job and was very attentive- really appreciated all the water refills as we were parched . They were very inclusive of a pretty strict diet. Give em a try they got a great and large menu.

Very solid lunch today at Fresh Chef Kitchen. The $8.00 burger special is hard to beat. The wife had Shrimp and Grits… very good.
Service was a little slow to get seated, but things were busy today. No worries! They took great care of us!

Taco Special was a great lunch. The have daily specials I recommend. We typically go here for lunch.
The management is friendly and always smiling. The place is pleasant with great staff.

Good customer service. We had the Provolone Cheese Sticks for an appetizer, the marinara sauce appeared to be made fresh and chunky, it was delicious. The omelet was amazing (see picture) and so was the Steak Thai Salad. We don’t normally get dessert but everything else was so good we decided to try it and had the blueberry cobbler, amazing, and the banana pudding, it was ok. The one odd thing is we were waited on by four different people, they were all equally friendly and courteous. It seems to be the way they do business and it works. Definitely worth a try if you’re in the Mint Hill or Matthews area.
