Definitely worth the trip!
Florida’s Seafood Bar & Grill is one of those places that feels unapologetically coastal the second you walk in. They only offer one soup, house-made clam chowder, and that kind of confidence makes a statement. It’s thick, creamy, loaded, and clearly made in-house. No “soup of the day” roulette here.
Rock shrimp wasn’t available during our visit, which they’re upfront about since it’s not always easy to source. We were served sweet white shrimp instead, and it was excellent. Fresh, seasoned well, and cooked exactly right. But here’s the twist: people come here for the fritters. Yes, fritters. Those little golden, powdered-sugar-dusted bites are oddly legendary. They’re simple, warm, and somehow manage to steal attention from seafood. I get it now.
The setting seals the deal. Waterfront views, a relaxed nautical vibe, and a golden-hour sunset that makes you linger a little longer. They even finish things off with a tiny cup of lemon sorbet, which feels like a quiet little mic drop at the end of the meal.
If you want polished fine dining, this isn’t that. If you want solid seafood, local personality, and fritters that have their own following, this is absolutely your spot.

Everything was amazing. The food. The service. The atmosphere.
We got the complimentary fritters first. Really tasty. We ordered more.
The Rock Shrimp were great. I got mine Scampi style. The side of Fettuccine Alfredo was very good and a large serving. Great salad as well.
The Oyster shooters were good with the Bloody Mary mix.
We’ll be back.
I highly recommend this restaurant!
Our group stumbled upon this place as we are at Port Canaveral for our cruise!
The vibe was amazing. Service was excellent.
They give you these free beignets at the beginning. You get a lot of of them!
From my appetizer I chose a cup of clam chowder soup which was divine!
If I had to critique I would say just a little bacon on top and it would’ve been a 10/10!
For my entree, I ordered the dynamite shrimp tacos which are huge! You get three with the choice of side which I chose to the baked potato with sour cream and butter.
Tacos- 10/10!
I tried my friend’s alligator tail, Amazing!
I really enjoyed this place.
They do add a 18% gratuity charge to your bill for parties of 6 or over.
So just be careful not to double tip if you weren’t planning to!
