It’s simple. You’re hungry, want something fast, easy, not a lot of cash, no hassles…Roll & Grill is the place! Fair prices, fair amount of food, all made freshly. Service and atmosphere is not what you necessarily come here for, but they know it and all the customers seem to know it too. Keep on rollin’, Roll & Grill!

Everything is made fresh as far as I can see.. u get what u pay for the hand roll are like 2 bites and kids like the chicken and beef bowl. Also the line was long . Price is not bad at all.

THIS PLACE IS HORRIBLE, UNORGANIZED AND SO RUDE TO THE CUSTOMERS.
I had to wait over 45 minutes to get my takeout order because they are so UNORGANIZED, some customers ordered later but got their food first, while some customers had to wait for 45 minutes to get our food.
After waited for more than 30 minutes, I came to ask if my order was ready but the front older lady (probably the owner) was so rude and said it’s not ready and I have to wait. Seeing her attitude, I asked for a refund because I have to leave, but she said “No, you have to wait, we don’t do refund.” So I had to wait some more and watched many other customers that came after me got their food and left.
During the 45 minutes waiting for my takeout, I witnessed many other scenarios, such as another customer was called to pick up his food but he said he ordered 2 items, 1 item was ready a long time ago and just sat at the counter while they prepared his 2nd item, so he said he his food was already cold, he wanted fresh hot food for both of his order but the lady at the counter (probably the owner) refused to do anything for him and was so rude to him. They way the lady spoke sounded like she was screaming at her customers.
Then another customer came to the counter to ask when will her food be ready cuz she had to go back to work but the 2 ladies at the counter told the customer “just wait, we don’t know, you just have to wait.”
There was another customer called in to order but the item wasn’t available and the customer was asking question but old lady pretended she couldn’t hear and hung up the phone. The phone rang again that customer called back, the old lady picked up the phone and said “hello, hello, I can’t hear you” then she hung up the phone again. Then the 2 ladies at the counter started laughing and talking to each other in their native language.
All the customers waited at the shop saw what she did.
This is a takeout place, chairs are set up to sit and wait for takeout order only, not for dine in, but their service was super slow.
For the food, it’s was cold. They don’t give any sauce, you have to buy the sauce. A lot of customers walked away unhappy with no sauce for their sushi rolls.
We use our hard earned money to buy food, not to buy stress, rudeness nor unprofessional treatments like this place provide. Save your money and go somewhere else.

Roll & Grill has quickly become one of my favorite go-to spots! I usually order the hand rolls.the food tastes great and the quality is consistently high. Even though it can get packed at times, it’s worth it because the prices are so reasonable. Great atmosphere and definitely worth the visit

Grateful this small business eatery has been feeding the students from USCF and surrounding neighborhoods for years with fresh made grills and sushi with best deals in SoCal. All items are made fresh to order. Always line out the door. This is take out only joint and grill plates and sushi are the best deals. Those who want to complain about quality of service can wait outside. Highly recommend and Thank You for keeping the price down and continuing to feeding the college students with fresh made meals!!

Wow what a deal, please don’t raise the prices. Went for my first time and the line was very long out the door but it went down kinda fast. There’s only to go option. I got 3 orders paid $16 and was in and out within 30 min. The food taste was good, portions are very fair and price is very low compared to others. If they don’t jack up the prices I’ll be here weekly. I got the tuna roll and the tuna sashimi and salmon sashimi

Some reviews complain on the wait. This is a to go only sushi spot that is really good and really affordable. So yes, it gets really busy, but you can’t beat the price and quality. Just be ready to wait in line and quickly place your order and leave.
