I stopped by here for lunch after a hard day of work to get me a chimichanga. Apparently this is the only restaurant in the area that has it. So I ordered my usual with extra beef and it came out with extra beef, rice and beans all under $20. No drink and it was one of the best chimichangas I ever had. Especially in Norcross and the rice and beans are really really good here. I always judge a Mexican restaurant over there rice and beans and this one really really inspired me to go home and probably try to make it myself! I will be back with my family next time for dinner!

It wouldn’t take much to improve the dining experience. The food was good, but the service left much to be desired.

We were headed to Frontera for the basic gringo Mexican favorites to suit the kids, well, Frontera is no more. My husband pulled this place up and saw that it had the traditional gringo Mexican fare as well as a more authentic inspired menu as well, so we dip around the corner to this place and he initially doesn’t want to go in because it’s empty. Like we were the only ones in there and only one or two more patrons showed up while dining empty, and it was 6pm on a Friday evening. I normally would have agreed, but it’s raining, we have two kids in the back, none of the online reviews mentioned bugs or filth or major insult, so we go in anyway.

First impression, I stuck to and slid on the floor walking to the table. It wasn’t just wet, it was greasy. I’m halfway between “y’all have 5 servers sitting in the corner of this empty restaurant, someone clean this damn floor” and “maybe it’s not urgent because they’re virtually dead”

Waitress was friendly, promptly took our order, then virtually disappeared to the aforementioned corner unless she was delivering food. She offered to bring more salsa and we said yes, please, but it never came out. The queso dip we ordered came out after the meals so we didn’t eat it and when I went up to the social corner and requested to go boxes and one for the dip, someone came and cleared the whole table very quickly, queso included, THEN put the container down.
. Aight.. we’d waited a good few minutes with my littlest getting loud and restless before I got up myself to go request the check and boxes, so we were ready to go and just went with the idea that, although the food was alright, this is probably our first and last visit.

Pleasantly enjoyed this place, the waitress was really informed on what was on the menu. She understands what we were craving and suggested a few plates . This is definitely a place in the rotation 🙂

We got the taco plate and the meat choice was pastor pork. They gave us three different sauces. The tacos were so delicious we didn’t need the sauces. We also got a taco loco salad w/grilled chicken and four caminos. Everything was delicious.

Been living in the area for 28 years, eating there since then. They used to have the best nachos in the area. But the last 2 times i’ve ordered them. They are super dry. No beans, no cheese, no toppings. For the price they need to make sure the food is coming out as advertised. QUALITY CHECK!

First time here and one of the waitresses recommended a few options. This is what I ended up going with. I don’t remember the name but it looks just like the picture under “specials” on the menu. This was soooooooo good. And the waitress that served me was pleasant, smiled a lot, and kept checking on me to make sure I was ok. But did not do it an annoying amount of times. Food came super fast! I had barely eaten any salsa and chips before I was served.
