As I sit here, I’ve already devoured one taco. I sampled my rice and beans, and now I have only one taco left. I thought I’d be doing the restaurant and the public a disservice by not taking a picture of what remains of my meal. The staff, the food, and the atmosphere are all amazing, but can you ask for anything more?

I had a 14.99 steak bowl with queso.
They put the queso first, about 5 inches of instant mexican rice, two table spoons of beans, and even less steak.
I was unable to eat the steak. It had an old, almost rancid taste.
The service was terrible, but they had no issue turning the screen to you for a tip.
If I had to say one good thing, they had good medium salsa.

Recently had a misunderstanding about my takeout order. Amber took care of everything and made it right. Amber is a consistently nice and helpful presence at this establishment. If you haven’t promoted Amber or given her a raise, Simple needs to do it, asap!!!

No one was there and my order was still messed up. Chicken was dry and tasteless, barbacoa was weird, burrito was mid. Guac no flavor, my nachos had cilantro and no other toppings. Overall not worth the visit.

Food is great but ever since they made you pay before they make your food the service has declined and without fail my order is always wrong. I said thank you when receiving my food this evening and I got stared at by the staff, a “you’re welcome” would have been nice. This place is good but has been in decline for the past couple years so to the listed items. Go back to chipotle style where you can actually watch your food be made instead of being shuffled off to the side.

We went on a Sunday afternoon. Very nice atmosphere and comfortable seating. Friendly and attentive staff. Enjoyed our meal. Pricing is fair, but on the upper end of the spectrum . Will definitely return.

The atmosphere is okay for what it is. The service is minimal. The food for Mexican Grill is not even remotely close. By adding “simple” to its title is like saying we don’t really care about food or what is Mexican food. This is a horrible spin off Chipotle, but more flavorless and bland.

Portion size was solid, but the quality didn’t match. I went shortly after opening, which may have been a mistake, but the pico clearly wasn’t fresh and the guac had already turned brown. The salsa and rice were the bright spots—both were genuinely delicious—but everything else fell short.
The fajita veggies had almost no flavor, and the steak didn’t taste like something from a “Mexican Grill.” Worse, the steak was gritty, almost as if it hadn’t been trimmed or cleaned before cooking. I had to spit out several pieces because they couldn’t be chewed.
Would I go out of my way to return? No. If the choice was between this place and Moe’s Southwest Grill, I’d pick this—though that isn’t saying much considering how far Moe’s quality has fallen. Cava still does quick, healthy bowls far better with fresher toppings and more variety.
If I want true Mexican grill flavor, I’d rather stop at any food truck or small shop in Wimauma instead.

I had a truly outstanding experience and want to specifically commend one of the employees who made my night on June 10th (Rebbeca). From the moment I arrived, she greeted me with genuine warmth and kindness. She was so sweet and instantly made me feel welcomed. She made my order super quick and she made it exactly how I wanted! It’s clear she takes pride in her work and genuinely cares about her guests’ experience. Thanks to her excellent service, I left satisfied with the meal and genuinely looking forward to my next visit. She is without a doubt, one of the key reasons I’ll be returning!! Not to mention the staff had clearly worked very hard to keep the restaurant clean. I’ve worked in the restaurant industry and that is no easy task so my hat’s off to the staff on June 10th around 8pm when I was there.
