Social Profile:

Runza Restaurants Serving real food requires a real commitment. It all begins bright and early each morning. Instead of serving breakfast, we’re making homemade bread dough from scratch. We’re hand-slicing onions. We’re shredding lettuce for our salads. We’re stirring up homemade chili and fresh ground beef filling for Runza® Sandwiches. It’s a labor-intensive process that doesn’t let up until long after closing time. We know there are easier ways to do all this, but our commitment to doing things the right way is as real as our food, and that’s not something we’re going to change.

Fast-food chain known for namesake German sandwiches, plus burgers, onion rings & crinkle-cut fries.

We dont have a Runza in town where i live so its a treat to be back in Lincoln the Home of Runza and stop in. With heavy heart i must lower the rating on what was the best store in Lincoln. Walking in we are now greeted with an ordering station insted of human beings. From there i thought lets try something diffrent and ordered the chicken strips, this is where the surprize started. Insted of the best chicken strips in town as they used to be what came out were 4 prepressed extra large chicken nuggets. Not sure when the change happend usually get the cheese burger or runza. The staff was great for the 5 seconds that it took to call my name and place the tray on the counter. Onion Rings are still great and the origional runza is still good but if your taking feedback this isnt the direction to be heading. Untill today i didnt mind paying a little more for quality and a great value but your geting close to the line. You have the picture on the wall of the origional location and having gone there maybe time to take that down.

Runza? I had no idea what this fast food place was. Apparently they are mostly all located in Nebraska. I must say, this place is amazing! They have runzas which are these hot pocket sandwiches filled with meat and cabbage and cheese. They are just so tasty and delicious. The burgers were also decent. I wish we had one in the DFW area to enjoy.

Stopped by on my way back to Colorado and everything was fresh and hot. Consistency is key when it comes to food quality & they knocked it out of the park. Great customer service from the young ladies in drive through and at the front register. I am glad to see that Runza continues to uphold the standards with quality food and good young employees.

This Runza was very clean and updated. Very friendly service, and man…I have missed those onion rings. Had to take family to try their first Runza while in town, and they enjoyed it. Kind of a bummer they charge for the French onion dip now. Maybe I’ve been gone so long I didn’t realize they’ve always charged for it. It was still a must to dip my rings in. The Runza w/cheese, frings, a drink and 2 dips was almost $17 Crazy times we’re living in, and you can tell the prices are affecting business bc we were the only ones there. It’s a shame bc this franchise has been a Nebraska staple for years. If I still lived here, the price would dissuade me from eating there often, but if you’ve never had it and passing through Nebraska, highly recommend.

Cheese Runza was very good. Frings were too salty but they were hot and fresh so that was good. Watermelon Lemonade was really sweet. Service was fine. Ordered on screen.

First place I stopped to eat when I came back from Colorado to visit. I used to work here a long time ago and wanted to see how it looked with the remodel. The food was delicious, everything was well cooked and fresh. The young man at the counter was kind even though he mentioned “he’s not much of a socializer”. Enjoyed stopping by to see the place!

Food was great! They were a litte short staffed, so there was a litte wait, but it was worth it! We’ll recommended for my first trip to Nebraska!

I have never had a bad experience at a Runza. This particular Runza is nostalgic as I used to go here with my dad 40 years ago. Back when they had the most amazing onion rings before changing them. Regardless, they still have really good food and their service is always above and beyond excellent.
