The food was amazing here! We went for my fiancée birthday and got some sushi with the crab Rangoon’s and the calamari. It was super nice, and staff were friendly! Only thing I’d say was a bit of a let down was the wait in between meals with the server. Other than that super great!

I absolutely LOVE Basil 1791 and come here often because the food is always on point—no matter if it’s brunch (the best meal of the day, hands down!), lunch, dinner, or happy hour. The weekly specials make it easy to enjoy great food without breaking the bank, and the vibe is always top tier.

We had brunch today and it did not disappoint! The staff was friendly and informative, and the flavors? So good, I’m already planning my next visit.

If you haven’t been to Basil 1791 yet—go ahead and treat yourself. You won’t regret it!

Fantastic menu. Lots of Thai dishes, some other Asian dishes- menu is large. Atmosphere is somewhere between the polished mom & pop Thai place and a modern chain restaurant, surprisingly pleasing to capture both feelings. Service was prompt and friendly, patient and attentive. The food… out of this world! I had the Volcano roll and the Spicy Garlic Fish. The Volvano roll was very good. The scallops were nice and tender. With the topping the roll was cut a little bigger than I wanted, but flavor was awesome. The fish is grouper with peppers and a garlic sauce. I ordered it 4/5 on heat level and it was very spicy, not Thai hot, but still hot. The garlic sauce was a little sweet, but it worked with the lightly starched fish. This dish is a 10/10 and I will be back to order it again. I want to cone tomorrow for lunch to try some of the other classical Thai dishes.

I used to be a big fan but not so much anymore. I’m a vegetarian and a big no for me is having MEAT IN MY FOOD (bare minimum requirement, you’d think) Various times I’ve ordered tofu fried rice, I’ve had chicken pieces in them. The items weren’t billed out and they offered to make it again and put chicken pieces in it again. Nothing is more disheartening as a vegetarian to find out that your food literally has chicken in it. I do not order their rices anymore bc of how much that disturbed me.

Vegetarians, do NOT get their rice items, it’s not worth the anguish. Get their sushi, get their appetizers (Thai crispy eggplant is good and their vegetarian egg roll too) but don’t get the fried rice!! Their service is nice and the waiters are the sweetest but make sure if you’re vegetarian, you’re not getting the fried rice.

The food is good, but the service can be slow. Takeout portions are good if you can get them. They’ve cancelled my DoorDash order after more than 20 minutes before and also don’t take to-go orders on busy holidays. Free parking available after 5, but not always super close.

A great spot with great food. I got the Siam Curry (which is wonderfully balanced). My husband got the burger and said it was really good as well. The Curry Rice is delicious and flavorful. The chicken egg rolls are fantastic and the Crab Rangoons hit the spot with the sweet and savory. Overall, the food was great. Service was pretty slow but luckily it was a family dinner so we didn’t really mind.

We arrived for the Sunday buffet. Wow, it was quite lovely. The mimosa bar had plenty of fruits and accoutrements. The bloody Mary bar was packed with ingredients to choose from. The buffet had amazing breakfast and lunch choices. I tried a bit of each. My favorites were fried banana bites, french toast bake, general TSO, and crispy sushi. We were served by 3 or 4 different people. These employees were top notch. They made sure we had everything we needed. Superb visit.

We ordered delivery, and it was packed so that everything came open and there was a puddle of liquid and other stuff all over the thin plastic bag. Then my wife found 2 hairs in her order before she could even take a bite. And instead of steamed rice we received a half eaten container of IDK, maybe a Kimchi like substance, unidentifiable.

We were in the mood for sushi and we saw there was sushi here. We came in (beautiful place and decor) and we saw that there wasn’t any sushi in the menu which was a bummer. We tried the Thai egg rolls which were good. We also got potstickers and they were ok. Pretty average appetizers. Service was ok.
