We stopped in here to have a couple of cheeseburgers. Let me tell you, if you’re looking for a good ol’ fashioned diner burger, this place is for YOU! Service was fast and attentive, the prices were very reasonable, the restaurant is spotless, and the food is delicious. In fact, we liked it so much, we plan to go back. As we watched the dishes other diners were getting, EVERYTHING looked good.

Visited Dayton and stumbled across this wonderful hidden gem of a diner. Love the friendly service and warm, home-style decor. Love the military service pictures on the wall. Definitely try the blackberry cobbler with ice cream. Great place! Highly recommend!

Have enjoyed many times. Most times we pick up to take home. Everything delicious except the onion rings. They have changed and not using the beer batter rings. I did call to ask and was told they are beer batter but no. The onion rings were soggy. Did try one bite before trashing. So disappointed. Last time ordered fries they also got trashed. Had been cooked ahead and sitting a while.

We were in Dayton for business and and we discovered this fantastic place . You will never find a better meal . Every single thing was superb. I highly recommend fresh food i had white beans , cabbage ,and macaroni and cheese and corn bread my husband had roast beef,beets and potatoes and a fresh dinner roll .We will make it there now at least once a month its that good !

On Mondays there is fried chicken that is THE BEST fried chicken I have ever had. The cornbread is perfect, and their sides are all around phenomenal, and all for low prices. Great local flavor in both food and clientele. Highly recommended.

Went for lunch. Excellent home cooked meal served hot. Waitress was friendly and knowledgeable about the local area. Highly recommended the cobbler we had pecan and blackberry cobblers with ice cream. Perfect dessert for a hot day!

Perfect little gem, almost hidden. We googled restaurants in Dayton and found this one. We will absolutely become regulars! Our food was fresh and tasted exactly like home cooking. The portions are big, you won’t leave hungry. The price was surprisingly very reasonable.
