Absolutely loved our experience at JoJo’s Restaurant in New Albany, MS! The food was delicious—each dish we tried was packed with flavor and made with plenty of care.

I had been craving a spicy margarita, and their spicy cucumber jalapeño margarita hit the spot! Don’t leave without trying the hot crawfish pimento jalapeños dip served with fresh baked bread to dip. Some of our other favorites were the bronze catfish with gouda grits, chicken alfredo, gumbo, and Caesar salad.

There’s something special about a place where you can taste the hometown hospitality in every bite. The cozy, welcoming atmosphere made it a perfect spot to gather with family, and the service was friendly and attentive. We’ll definitely be back—JoJo’s is a gem right in North Mississippi!

This was my first time trying this restaurant tonight, and it truly won my heart. The food was absolutely delicious, and the atmosphere made the whole experience even better. The decor inside is beautiful, and the old music playing in the background gives the place a warm, classic feeling that makes you want to stay and enjoy the moment.

The staff were all incredibly friendly and welcoming. The manager/owner even took a moment to tell us that deaf people and everyone else are always welcome here anytime, which meant so much to me. That kind of kindness and inclusiveness really made us feel comfortable and appreciated.

We were also told that the food is made from scratch and sourced from local stores, and you can truly taste the quality in everything.

And I have to mention the red velvet dessert — it was absolutely mind-blowing! One of the most delicious desserts I’ve had in a long time. The food overall was amazing, and we would definitely come back again for both the meals and the dessert.

This place is perfect for date nights, family gatherings, reunions, or just meeting up with friends. They also have a bar area for drinks and music, which seems like a great spot to relax and hang out.

Overall, such a wonderful experience. We will definitely be coming back, and I highly recommend giving this place a try!

So I ordered take out. Kiley/kylie was the young lady who took my order over the phone, she was very kind and patient. However I sent my fiancé to retrieve my order bc it was my bday dinner, and he stated when he picked up my food and was about to leave some guy who appeared to be the owner made the statement that “he could have at least left a tip since u gave him the cake” lol which was my bday treat. But ok ‍♀️ I won’t get into the controversial debate about tipping, lol.
Beside that I had the catfish and grits add shrimp and I found it to be quite delicious even tho it didn’t seem like authentic Cajun cuisine. The mixed greens which was my side however were definitely from a can, but I just poured the juice from the shrimp and grits over them for a little seasoning which they lacked and they were ok then the cake however was ok, seemed to be a store bought cake with a chocolate and pistachio mixture poured on top. I don’t live far from here so given the time that my fiancé made it bk I feel like it was prepared in a decent amount of time and y the time I got it it was still hot. Not a horrible experience but I’m not sure if I will eat here again.

The New Orleans atmosphere was captivating, offering a unique experience. The great-tasting creole food was truly a delight to the senses. Oyster and shrimp poboys were a culinary highlight, filled with wonderful flavors. The owners and staff were very friendly, making the experience even more pleasant. Overall, the entire experience created a memorable and enjoyable visit.

Husband ordered Mango wings, they were great down to the last few and the drumette was cold in the center, I ordered the hot crawfish and artichoke dip didn’t come until the entree was bought out, we had it taken off our ticket; well my husband ordered gumbo and hated it; I ordered the Mississippi braised fish and grits and the fish was under cooked; the drinks we ordered was watered down, our waitress was friendly helpful and apologetic and the older man that walked around was helpful but it’s not a place we’d visit again, there were pros but more cons for us. If I must praise the one thing we both enjoyed it would definitely be the grits.

I almost didn’t eat here tonight after reading some of the reviews. I went in across the street but there was a long wait to sit. So we decided to give it a shot. I’m damned glad we did too. I got a perfectly cooked ribeye, my wife got a knock your socks off pork chop, my father in law said his pork chop was possibly one of the best he’s ever had, and he’s had a bunch of em.

To the people who say it took 45 minutes to get our food.. bet yall got grits didn’t ya? Call meme and as how long grits take. If she don’t say 30-45 minutes, she makes instant, and who wants that???
To the people who say their service was bad, I’m betting yall get back what you put in. Mallory was awesome. Drinks stayed full, she knew the menu, made awesome recommendations, and even got my bar order right.
To the people who say “it’s not NOLA Cajun” It’s as close to Cajun as anything you gonna get in NOLA…
Finally, live music and excellent beignets!!!
Overall I give it 6/5 stars and will definitely be back!

We sat down at 6: 30pm. Didn’t get our food until 8:15pm .we were in the back right corner of the bar area by the back door. Felt like we got forgotten. The asked if if we got our salads .about an hour into it. Our food came and my buddy’s ribeye wasn’t a ribeye. You can see it’s a sirloin. And the jambalaya is so small for a meal. It’s more like a side item. I love Cajun so I hope it gets better.

My friends and I were excited to try JoJo’s tonight for the first time. We were all very impressed. Excellent menu options and the food was delicious! I was tempted to order another serving of the gouda grits! There was a very talented and fun band playing called the Holy Smokes. Great atmosphere and the wait staff were all very friendly. Looking forward to dining here again soon!

Fabulous! Jojos Cajun Cuisine is a definite must try. The staff were very friendly, the restaurant is very clean, the decor and music was very welcoming. Both of the owners came by the table to make sure we were taken care of. My husband and I both had jambalaya (his with a generous portion of shrimp). It was authentic with chicken and sausage. We also ordered dessert. We tried the bread pudding with a house made bourbon caramel sauce (amazing!) and homemade beignets topped with powdered sugar. We will DEFINITELY be coming back to try more of the menu. A must not miss restaurant in New Albany.

We attempted this restaurant a couple months ago and never got seated so we decided to give them another shot with friends and it was worth it
The atmosphere with the Football games and the music was very entertaining. We tried the Jambalaya, Crawfish Etouffee and Fried Shrimp while our kids loved the sliders and chicken.
I would hold to my word that the fried shrimp were the best in North Mississippi
Can’t wait to try it again and get dessert this time
