I live far away and only come to Red Oak for visits. Every visit includes several meals at Casa de Oro. Tonight, I ordered a new dish Campo Chicken: stir fried chicken with a TON of beautiful vegetables and peanuts over a thin bed of rice and cheese. The seasoning is light and not spicy. It is WONDERFUL!

Best Mexican restaurant in a long time! Amazing waiter, attentive, kind and ontop of what you needed/wanted!! The food was absolutely amazing!! The flavors were on point! Not too spicy, not bland, just perfect! Never had a chimichanga that was that good! The beef was the best, flavor, texture and no grease! The Mole was scrumptious as well! All n all the best experience! Some of the best salsa and queso I’ve had in a very long time!!

Our little family stopped here for the first time. All the staff were very friendly and engaging. The price of food for the quality and portions was a little disappointing. The busser who brought us our drinks spilled my daughter’s lemonade and it landed in my lap. So I ate my dinner sitting in wet pants and shoes so that was a bummer. Working the service industry myself I wouldn’t have charged for the drink if a guest had to eat their meal in wet clothes. Probably won’t be back as it was on the expensive side and the food wasn’t worth it.
