It is not the Geno’s I have know and loved for over 20 years. I went there for memories and left with too much money spent on subpar pizza. If you would like better quality pizza, go to Little Caesars or your nearest public school cafeteria.

I have only been to Geno’s once before and it was when the old owner had the establishment right before they were bought out. I LOVED their pizza then. Especially the breadsticks! I adored the flavor and texture. The dough for their pizza was thick and everything balanced so well. Their breadsticks were out of the world. They were thick and round breadsticks that you just do not see much at other restaurants now a days. Unfortunately the new owner must be using a new dough recipe…the pizzas are much thinner and extra greasy. The breadsticks are extremely thin and floppy similar to what you can get at a chain restaurant. I feel like I could get the same exact thing at any other pizza restaurant when the Geno’s before I felt like was truly different. Makes me pretty sad. I hope they bring back whatever dough was being used prior to the buyout.

Just found out they’re under new ownership. What a difference! Owner his wife are very nice and pleasant. people. But more importantly, the pizza is awesome – highly recommend! No more looking for the great pizza place. I have found it.

The new owner revamped the sauce with his own recipe and its absolutely phenomenal. The menu is downsized but that allows for them to focus on making better food across the menu. Overall, the pizza is much improved with the newer, simpler ingredients. Geno’s just elevated to one of my top 3 pizza places in Kalamazoo, its 100% worth the trip to get if you aren’t in the Parchment area. The stuffed shells, which are a new addition, are amazing as well. Can’t recommend Geno’s pizza enough!

Our family has ordered and enjoyed Geno’s for years since the 90s, it was our go to place. We ordered for the first time since new ownership and let me tell you we will not be ordering again.
