The food was a nightmare — and not the kind you wake up laughing from. There was a bit of confusion when ordering, but nothing could have prepared me for what showed up. Let’s just say it arrived in a state of chaos. I’ve had better meals at gas stations. Won’t be risking it again.

I suggest you asking for a taste of their Aguas Fresca before ordering. I got an agua de Horchata and it had a funky/sour taste. We told the waitress he said “if we want to exchange for another agua fresca” we didn’t. We got a cokes and were charge for them.

This is an authentic Mexican food restauran unlike others. I’ve been dining here for 20+ years. The tacos are with handmade tortillas so I love it. The beef stew is delicious, so is the tostadas de camarones.

I would have given three stars for basic but having to prove that you didn’t get the sauce and then having the staff going through your food to make sure(during covid)….. Not cool.
Secondly, their prices have increased by I’d say 25%. The pictures posted with their menu items are not the right prices.
The chorizo plate was $12. Compared to the 8.99 down the road at country burgers. (their portions are huge there too, enough for a second meal, not this place). The food is great though! (I ♥ chorizo!)
*oh and this places charges a .50 cent card usage fee. Bring cash for savings!
