Went in on a whim by myself and had a great experience. I ordered the Busan Korean BBQ and really enjoyed it. The sides that came with it were excellent, especially the kimchi, which was genuinely delicious. The cheese and corn appetizer was a standout, and the salad was a perfect portion. Even dining solo, the staff made it feel welcoming. Super friendly, attentive, and kind without being overbearing. I’d absolutely recommend it, whether you’re going alone, meeting friends, or planning a date night.

We had a great experience at Madame Butterfly for our anniversary. Loved the atmosphere, service we received from Mambi and the food.
We had the lamb skewers and a Caesar salad as appetisers(lamb taste was a bit intense and the salad was more like a reinterpretation) but we liked it! We also had the Steak and Stew, loved the spices , but the most delicious of all was the fish, it was so soft it was melting in your mouth and the veggies were crisp and the sauce absolutely delicious!
We were served 2 glasses of champagne on the house since it was our anniversary and appreciated the design from the bartender, Abby, she made a little heart for us which we found very cute! We also had 2 glasses of wine and a Sake and it all came to $139 , for what we have received it was worth it .
So yes, definitely recommend the experience.
Thank you for a lovely dinner experience!

For the price (~60 per person), the food quality and presentation were not what we expected. However, as has been the case across Savannah, the service was great. Our waitress was attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu. Our water was never empty.

The best item on the menu was the Steak and Stew, which consisted of Filet Mignon in beef broth with carrot, peanuts, potato, sweet onion, choice of rice or grilled house bread. Get the house bread. The Madame Bang Shrimp was on point. The Scallops and the Gangnam Noodles were a big let down.

What an amazing night! The Food was delicious, the service impeccable, and the atmosphere had that quintessential Al fresco southern charm in spades! We even had a little service dog with us and no one batted an eye at us. She just laid down to the table while we ate. We have just recently relocated to the Savannah area in the first place so you wanna come back to is the Madame Butterfly. Can’t recommend it hardly enough. Everyone should go at least once, we’re putting a cot
outside and sleeping there.

This was the first restaurant I visited in downtown Savannah everyone from the hostess to the waiter and waitress were amazing. They make you feel welcomed! I ordered japchae and pork belly. The dishes were fine and if I visit again I can’t wait to try order dishes.

Dining with Dirk: Saturday Late night Edition
Madame Butterfly drew the short straw this time. Donte stepped in behind the bar, ready to go. Cold beverages were poured and food orders placed.
First to arrive were the crispy wings—well seasoned with a spicy kick that set the tone for the experience. Next came the trout and crab entrée, topped with a mustard-forward sauce that tied everything together for a strong, satisfying finish.
The only downside: the full menu isn’t available at bar seating, so you’re limited to the top half of the menu. A small drawback, but worth noting — eating dinner at Madame Butterfly.

Had a very unsavoury experience at madame’s.
Me n a friend ordered for the following
Catch of the day fried red snapper
Calamari
Spicy fries
And fried brussels sprouts
The calamari was oily and looked fried from Frozen.
The brussels sprouts were okayish. Have had better.
The fish was chewy and did not seem fresh. Told our server too regarding this.
A sheepish apology was given and that was it.
The fries were good.
So for $136 we enjoyed the bucket of fries. Mc Donald’s is more bang for the buck.
Later in the night I had an upset stomach and could not sleep at all.
My friend too felt uneasy throughout the night.
Definitely not going back.

Mambi was our server and she made our night so special! We got married and this was our dinner to celebrate, and it was all so good. They gave us a great booth too. We were very happy with our experience!

This restaurant deserves a solid 5 stars for its food, service, and atmosphere. We visited for a late lunch and spent over $200 for a meal with two drinks for three people. We ordered the Ultimate Feast Plate, Korean short ribs with fried rice and egg, as well as appetizers including Pad Thai, papaya and noodle salad, and Brussels sprouts. All of the dishes were delicious.

In comparison to prices in the Atlanta area, this restaurant is on the pricier side. However, given Atlanta’s abundance of Korean restaurants, the prices tend to be more affordable there. Despite the higher cost, the quality of the food made it worthwhile. Next time, I’ll likely stick to their lunch menu, which offers more reasonable prices than the dinner options.

During our last few trips to Savannah, Madame Butterfly was highly recommended. Transparency moment- after getting up stairs I was very disappointed. My husband and I are huge Korean BBQ fans…I have select options I always eat and we are used to more of an “all you can eat” fare. This is basically al a carte. However, based on the introductory A++++ service of Diamond (who was training Colton) we opted to stay and ordered the “meat lovers”. As shared in posts by others, the pricing is much higher than most, but the service and experience was well worth it. [The types of meat in our option does justify the price even though all my favorites were not all included]. The carrots and fish cakes were amazing!! I am NOT typically key lime fan but the dessert was fantastic! We left satisfied.
