Food is still great. And it just keeps getting better.
Stopped in for Taco Tuesday and had the carnitas tacos and a fish taco on blue corn tortillas , paired perfectly with a margarita and a delicious Paloma.
The tacos were super fresh, well-priced, and served with a nice mix of fresh greens.
But the star of the show was Erica.
She was first on shift and, even with the place getting busy, handled everything smoothly. Every customer was treated like family — greeted with a genuine smile and real warmth. Despite being slammed, it never affected her attention to detail or customer care. That kind of service is rare.
Hats off to Erica.
She absolutely made the experience and has definitely encouraged me to return for more tacos on the lake — and the Erica show.
Congratulations to Amalfi for delivering consistently amazing service.

Stopped by Amalfi again, and as expected, had another fantastic experience dining by the lake.
The menu offered a wide variety of choices—something for everyone.
I started with a refreshing Limoncello Drop, a perfect starter drink for a warm California afternoon. Another great option was the Amalfi Spritz—light, crisp, and refreshing.
For starters, I went with the pulled pork sliders—an excellent choice. The coleslaw was fresh and crunchy, complementing the sweet and tangy barbecue sauce and the tender, flavorful shredded pork perfectly.
We also tried the tartar ceviche—wow! A fantastic mix of fish with layers of flavor in every bite.
Next up were the chicken wings—cooked just right, juicy (not dry), and I loved the sauce. A great pairing with our drinks.
For the main course, we had the California burger, perfectly prepared with fresh avocado, crisp vegetables, and a medium-cooked patty that tied it all together beautifully.
Lastly, we shared the Poki Ahi Tacos. If you’re a fan of poki, these are a must-try—well-prepared, fresh, and bursting with flavor.
If you’re looking for lakeside dining or just a relaxing spot for cocktails with friends, Amalfi is definitely the place.

This was a great place to go for happy hour. We were a group of 8 and had appetizers & drinks before dinner at the restaurant. Our server was very friendly and attentive. The view was awesome.

Went on a Saturday evening for the first time with a friend and I LOVED IT!! The atmosphere was great, pet friendly and not to mention the food YUMM!! I had the BIG bacon cheeseburger and she had the Salmon burger and they both were delish! My burger was big and juicy and the kale salad that they served with is was amazing no as well. If you are looking for a place to chill by the water enjoy good food and good music this is the place to be. I told my girlfriend we were definitely going to go back again!

A great place for good Italian food by the lake. Indoor and outdoor seating is available. A great view of the lake. The food was fantastic. I had the clams and mussels entrée. I definitely recommend that as well as the tiramisu for dessert. Service was absolutely fantastic. We were served well. Staff was n friendly and we were constantly asked if everything was OK. There’s also plenty of parking right in front of the premises. I would definitely come back.

Great food with a view of the water! We grabbed a table at the lower Dockside bar for a birthday lunch with my mom and boyfriend. The service was lovely, and we were able to eat with a great view of Lake San Marcos. It was nice watching the swans and ducks swim by. The weather was warm, but the tables are shaded from the sun, which kept us cool. Food can be on the pricier side for a casual lunch, but it was high quality and filling. We all took home some leftovers. The ceviche was unique, fresh, and delicious. I highly enjoyed my meatball sandwich, but it was more than enough for be to eat alone. The pizza was also great. Since we came for a birthday, they surprised us with a delicious lemon cake, which was silky and not too sweet.

I went here for lunch with a friend and had a wonderful time. We enjoyed delicious and freshly made pasta and pizza, and it was all a very high-quality and made in a good amount of time with great service. They have a nice wine list as well, and the view of the water is beautiful.

I couldn’t say how great of an experience that it was to have lunch here! We had a fun birthday celebration because of the staff. The back staff were the backbone that really made that work. Fun sitting on the water and seeing the Gondolas on the lake, and the black swans. Drinks were very pricy, and small. My Bloody Mary was packed with ice for $13! No bells and whistles for this amount. The Puttanesca tasted like fish and way to salty.

This marina bar, was a pleasant surprise. Atmosphere was relaxing. It took them a bit to seat us, since we were a big group. We had 2 separate tables, which was fine. Our server forgot to take our order, and it took him 30 minutes to realize this. By the time we were served our food, the first table was finished eating. I would not go back there again, if I was in a large group setting. This place is more for smaller groups. The food made up for the inconvenient service. They use fresh ingredients, cooked and seasoned to perfection. I will return.
