Placed order on line. When I arrived a few minutes after the designated pickup time, my order was not ready. The plus side is that the food was freshly prepared and was still hot. The employee was very friendly. I’ve always loved LJS.

Went to Long John Silver last night and was I disappointed. We went in and we were informed that they could not take orders for 20 – 30 mins. I ask them why and they told me they had four orders they needed to fill. I must say I feel orders should not be turned away. But we pulled over to see how many they have turned away and my jaw dropped. Bad managment and we won’t ever go back there. We will go to Crown Point from now on. Boy did they lose business last night. That can break a company real quick.

This Long John Silver’s is a gem! The worker at the drive-thru last night was super enthusiastic and friendly, which made ordering a pleasure. Our food came out fresh, hot, and exactly right. The inside has that nostalgic, old school look you don’t see much anymore. It’s clean, decently kept, and feels like stepping back in time in the best way. Don’t get me wrong it is very old in there, but for what it is, it’s got character. There aren’t many of these places left in the area, so it’s nice to see one still holding strong. The manager has always been accommodating and polite. One time my order was wrong, and not only did they fix it without any hassle, they also offered me a free meal. Their customer service has always been good. They never forget all the sauces I ask for either. On another occasion the cashier even offered us a free drink while we waited. Small gestures like that really stand out! Plus, the coupons in the mail are a great bonus. Between the great service, fresh food, and classic atmosphere, this location is worth every visit.

Good fresh HOT food. All amazing! Store could use some updating (but I did like the classic look of it) only gave 4 stars on service due to the staff looking at you as if I was walking in 3 minutes till close. When they was still open for another 3 hours. Not the friendliest of staff but not bad enough to complain either. The order taker did indeed bring my food to the table instead of hollering out a reciept# (very kind) restrooms could use some serious help mainly in esthetics cleanliness of them was just slightly under average.

Visited for the first time in several months, aside from drive thru a couple months ago. I couldn’t be more pleased. Had the #10 combo fish and shrimp. Food was freshly made and delicious! Their hush puppies are sooo good too! Love the little stray crunchies on top my Cole slaw, yum! In our current reality of restaurants being short staffed and typically grouchy, the staff here were super friendly and attentive. They even wished me well on my way out! I told the manager what a pleasant experience I had and how they’re doing a great job and us customers appreciate them and what they do. Great experience, will be back!

Gotta say, the atmospheres declined over the years, but taste stayed the same. Hats off to the one guy working there by himself and keeping it together, all while smiling… Whatever they’re paying him, it isn’t enough. Still on the cravings list, good food.

I am very disappointed I was really looking forward to some fish tacos today. They made the pieces of fish so small I feel like there is no meat in these tacos at all. I expected a regular full piece of fish that you normally get when you don’t buy the tacos.. I will not be ordering again if that is what I’m to expect.
