Pro: friendly service, very generous serving size. Our food came out pretty fast, the ingredients tasted fresh and the food was not bland.
Con: slightly over seasoned for my taste – used too much salt and sugar. Texture of our stirfried noodles were a little soggy and lacking the pan marks.

My first time at Karta and it was quite delicious. I ordered the chicken fried rice and beef massaman. My friend had the chicken satay and coconut curry with fried tofu. The portions were gigantic and flavor was spot on. Service was good and the only reason I rated it not five stars is because of pricing. My bill with tip was almost $50 granted we both took home a lot of food.

This place is understated and has wonderful food. They take the time to present it well. The pineapple fried rice is fabulous. I am Celiac and there are plenty of gluten-free options. The ambiance is basic, it’s cold in there and I generally hate eating with my jacket on; but the food is so good it’s worth it.

I ordered the pad Thai, which I got #2 spicy and it had 0 spice to it. They didn’t give us any utensils, or napkins, plates, and I’ve never had fried ice cream before but it tasted like soggy bread? I guess if that’s your thing then they nailed it.

Chicken pad thai was saucy, tasty, not as spicy as we thought but their chili oil was AMAZING and super spicy!!!

We were starving and just craving Asian food, so just stopped by Karta Thai because it was close and we’re so glad we did!
Friendliest waiter ever and the food was phenomenal. We got the crispy tofu & angel wings for appetizers, red curry with shrimp & pad thai with chicken for entrees, and Thai tea & Thai coffee for dessert! Loved every dish. Definitely would recommend because we’re already planning on what we’d get for the next time we come back.

Got to talk to the staff and get some recommendations on different dishes; the Pad Khing with broccoli and bell pepper was delicious. The spring rolls are also well above average, super fresh and minty, with a savory peanut sauce. Definitely will be back soon. Thanks!

This is one of my favorite Thai places. It’s in an old Taci Bell building, so it doesn’t look like much, but don’t let the outside fool you. The menu is adventurous and everything I’ve had at Karta has been delicious. The proprietors are a friendly couple who take great care of the customers (and if you go there often enough, they remember your favorites from the menu). If you aren’t sure what to have, they make great suggestions and u have never been disappointed. Note that you should let the server know if you mean Thai hot or Minnesota hot – these are very different!

Typical American-Thai restaurant, no surprise, no authenticity. Tasting sweet in every and each dish. The only good thing is reasonable portions. Caution: they charge you extra fee if using credit cards(look your check carefully).
