Just finished my lunch here while visiting the area for my first time. Got the Reuben and Chicken + Rice Soup with a side of the Potato Salad which were all delicious. Service was great from being greeted walking in, helped with recommendations and checking with me when I was done.

Ordered the turkey club warm in flatbread and it changed my life a little bit. Highly recommend!
Service was also great!

It was OK for a lunch. Food (Reuben and French dip) were ok but minimal. Not huge number of choices downtown but we could have looked for better

(2023)Although it’s not the prettiest this sandwich was delicious I’m sucker for a good Philly cheesesteak and I never had one like this before but it was really good 🙂 it was quite busy in there but I liked it since it was in a main city that was so cool!

Stopped by here after visiting the Gateway Arch and was not disappointed. It’s a very short walk from the national park. Service was a bit awkward, but the food was great! I got the Pickles Club and a bowl of soup – I believe it was called the Steak + Tri Pepper Soup.

Pretty good food, Gyro, Cuban, and French dip have all been quite good. good service but during lunch sometimes lines can be a little long. Food portions, are maybe a little on the lighter side. But was still just enough.

One of the best Reuben sandwiches I’ve had. Also ordered the Cuban and pickles club sandwich, which were good but hands down would order the Reuben again. Clean and reasonably priced. Walked there from the arch and it was very doable.

This doesn’t make me like Pickles any less (the food, or the restaurant) but the pickle on the side was my least favorite part of the meal. The first time I went I got a French dip sandwich with au jus sauce and a ski soda. The French dip was alright. My wife makes an incredible French dip and I have yet to find a place that makes one better than her. The ski soda was alright. I wouldn’t get it again.

Now let’s get to the real reason I’m giving this place 5/5. Their Reuben sandwich. I love Reuben sandwich’s and this place serves one of the best Reubens I’ve ever had. Top 3 for sure. The corned beef is amazing and moist and the sauerkraut has the perfect sweetness and tart flavor. The thousand island dressing wasn’t too much to make it mess but also not too little that you can’t taste it. It was amazing. The barbecue kettle chips are pretty good too. I believe it’s the owners (a husband and wife) they were very attentive and constantly working and checking in on people and cleaning tables.

We also didn’t notice until the end of our 2nd time there that they have upstairs seating as well. We didn’t check it out but if it looks busy be sure to double check if there is room to sit upstairs!

This was my first experience with Pickles Deli. I ordered and paid online.   My order was ready before the time indicated. I was greeted and directed to the pickup table for my order. I ordered a Reuben with Corned Beef, Pastrami was also an option. I requested extra Thousand Island on the side, which I received. I also requested extra Sauerkraut but it did not seem like there was extra on my sandwich. Nonetheless, the sandwich was great! I will certainly be returning!

In town for a trade show and I didn’t expect much at all. I was blown away first by the amazing service and how friendly the staff was. They brought out the subs and I first thought they seem small compared to what I am used to being from NY, but then I bit into it. Tons of meat and the bread was freaking fabulous! It was warm. Sub was easy to eat, not messy or hard to fit in my mouth, and most importantly, tasty.

Then, I finished and almost immediately someone comes over and asks if I’m finished and takes away my plate! (This was especially impressive considering I was here during the lunch rush) This is a sub shop has better service than most restaurants.
