Arrived on a Saturday evening about 6:00pm. The parking lot was very big with lots of room. We walked in and the place was quite full. It’s kind of like find a seat if there’s a table open. We sat down and were greeted immediately so we ordered a few beers some cheese stick appetizers and a large pepperoni pizza.
I didn’t get any pictures of the cheese sticks but they were just OK. Nothing special for beer choices so if you are a craft beer snob this is not the place for you. They did have two hearted which I was happy about.
Pizza did not take too long to get to the table but as we were waiting It was an in and out, in and out with people getting pizza so this location is quite popular with the pizza.
So the pizza arrived and It looked pretty good but it’s very doughy if you are into that kind of pizza. It was good but not great. The interior of the restaurant had a very up north feel which was very nice. So all in all…the location is Fantastic, the interior was nice, the Service was good and the pizza was OK.
So if you’re in the area I’d go check out this place. We will be back. Good job Buckhorn Saloon!

On July 11, 2025, we visited the Buckhorn Saloon for a bite to eat, and it was an exceptional experience! The menu offered a great selection of dishes, and both the drinks and food were outstanding.
What truly stood out was the incredible staff. Despite being busy, they provided us with the best service we’ve ever had. It was impressive to see how well they worked together to ensure all orders were delivered promptly.
We also enjoyed learning about Michigan folklore, specifically the legend of the Dogman, which added a unique touch to our visit. We highly recommend the Buckhorn Saloon and we will be returning!

Excellent friendly service. Three of us enjoyed our meal. Everything was prepared fresh and tasted good! Onion rings were lightly battered and home made. Burgers were prepared exactly as ordered Our food was served faster than expected! We will return when passing through the area again.

First time going here. It was pretty busy on a Saturday night. We didn’t wait long for a table. The atmosphere was great for how busy they were. Our waitress did a great job. We ordered a pepperoni pizza and a cheese pizza. Also, mozzarella sticks, a cheeseburger, and a wet burrito. Plenty of leftovers and everyone left stuffed. Prices are what you would expect anywhere. Really enjoyed my visit and will be going back.

Very happy that we finally stopped here! It was pretty busy when we arrived, and it took a little bit for a waitress to get to us. She brought our drinks once she was able to make it to our table.
The food took a little while, but not overly long. It was worth the wait though. Hubbs shrimp basket was fresh and hot, very tasty.
My pizza was fantastic. It had a perfect crust, very flavorful and tasty sauce and the cheese and toppings made it perfection!
The restaurant was clean and most of staff we encountered were incredibly nice and friendly. We will definitely be stopping again!

Food is always good. The tall kid is a great cook. They are known for their pizza but the burgers and onion rings are really good also. Oh and the waitress are amazing also. Ready GO!

Last night, Dec.6 was another fantastic special appearance of the famous Jazz band at the Buckhorn Amazing music with some holiday tunes mixed in. We had plentiful delicious food ( I had the Mushroom, swiss burger basket w/ crispy fries & slaw). So much food I left w/ a takeout box for a second meal today. Great crowd, fast, friendly service, an enjoyable time was had by all. We Will definitely be back soon❗

Well if you want cold food that tasted day old, brought to you 43 mins BEFORE everyone else’s food was brought to them, then go here. Not very friendly wait staff and acted more like it was our fault we had to wait 47 mins to get our food that was ordered BEFORE the other group that walked in. Got regular pop for diet with 2 diabetics at table. Then never came back by to ask if anyone wanted a refill. Way more attention being paid to the regulars drinking at the bar then the customers that was going to have a $100 order ( before some of it was cancelled because of the taste)I know I will never be back.
