Just moved up here from the cities decided to give this place a try came on a Friday during happy hour came to the wrong door but was let in anyway had the scotch eggs and it was amazing. BTW the view to the lake while u sit at the bar this place is doing things right they have a great bloody mary, short cocktail list… wish there were a few more unique to the restaurant but the ones we had were perfect. Burger was excellent I love that you have so many in house sauces that’s how it’s supposed to be and a unique salad list my husband and I named this our new spot and would love to come try everything!!! TY HUB 41 i can see the passion in the food keep it going.

I don’t see how this place has only a 4 star review. The view from the upper deck patio is absolutely incredible. I enjoyed a very delicious diet mule. My wife ordered the hub burger, and I got the pig me up. My wife absolutely loved her burger. I had a bite and it was definitely delicious. When I tell you to get the pig me up, I mean GET THE PIG ME UP. The flavor was out of this world. One of the best pork sandwiches I’ve had in my life and I’m a foodie. We will be back every time we go to Detroit lakes.

I’ve eaten here before and it was outstanding and was coming back one night to pick up a couple burgers for my kids and me as it was late in the evening and mom, my fiancé, was “catching up on work, her therapy notes, so she said.” However, apparently this is the place to meet up if you are “working late” with a “friend” your S/O does not know about. Food is great, drinks are cold, company is lousy.(in my opinion)

Delicious food. Everything on the menu sounds good. The caramelized brussel sprouts are my favorite. We went June 16th for our anniversary dinner and to listen to Matt Aakre so it was extremely busy. Our waitress was super efficient and friendly. Excellent food no matter qhat you order. We sat upstairs on the outside patio and had a gorgeous view of the lake while we ate.

We had a late lunch upstairs in the upper deck with a great view of the lake. The wind blowing off the lake was a great cool down. Their take on jalapeño poppers was delicious but did look like an egg roll. We had fish/shrimp tacos, Asian noodle bowl, Hub burger, and fish and chips. We also had summer vibe Moscow mule, lime inspired margarita and sun cruisers in a can. The highlight of the food was the fries, but the food was also good. It was a nice summer vibe lunch experience in a beautiful place with good food.

First time hub. I had the patty melt and fries. I thought it was good, although the burger wasn’t quite enough for me. It did have a wonderful rye bread , which is important. My wife had a bacon cheese burger. She liked it, same though she thought hers was a little under done also. Instead of fries, she got the beer cheese soup. There was a up charge. She thought the soup was good. It seems to have more chicken broth then a lot of the beer cheese soup she’s had in the past. It wasn’t overly rich.
We thought the meal was good, and we try it again in the future.
Add bonus they had Castle Danger Cream Ale. Love the beer.

Really fun and hip spot right on the lake! Multiple levels of seating, indoor, and outdoor, great view of the lake. Burgers were phenomenal! Would really recommend the jalapeno popper Burger. They have bag toss outside if you are there in the time of year when you can do outside games. Friendly and helpful staff!

Got a BLAT , it had hardly any bacon on it. Three small pieces for the whole sandwich. Many bites had no bacon.
My sister got the pulled pork sandwich, was extremely dry pork and very very well done onion rings. Crunch!
Won’t need to go there again.

Limited parking and seating. Food was so so. Max the server was busting ass. The girls behind the bar mailed itinerary for the day at 2:00 pm. Max should be the manager without question. Great job picking up the slack Max.
