Happened to be up in the area and my wife and I struggled to find a decent Mexican restaurant that wasn’t overpriced in Vista.
They have a pretty good selection here, and everything is perfectly priced. Tacos range between $2-4 dollars, even outside of Taco Tuesday. Burritos are between $10 and $14 (The most expensive is the Surf and Turf, which is normal.)
We shared the Adobada Fries, she had a Carnitas Taco (not pictured) and I had an Adobada Burrito. The fries looked so good that we couldn’t wait to take pictures. She said that it was some of the best carnitas she’s ever had, and the adobada itself was great. The Burrito was a little underwhelming, which is disappointing.
Overall, great spot, great service. Only docked a star for portion size and the Burrito which was a bit soggy but still good.

Nothing special the Asad fries were okay.. fries seemed to be soggy like out of a frozen bad from the grocery store.. the Asada was good is why its a 3 star not a 2 star

Got the taco Tuesday price of $1.99 each. Very small, called “street tacos”, I think. I would never pay more than that for them so it’s good I was there on Tuesday. Good variety of salsas. The place is clean and seems very popular for lunch.

The tacos are just amazing. And they have such a great variety. I ordered 6 and probably should have kept it to 5 because I was just stuffed by the end 🙂 but they were so good. The fish and shrimp ones appear to be larger tacos than many of the others (which are street tacos). They also had a really extensive salsa bar and an option for homemade tortillas which was a bit more unique. For no frills but authentic and delicious tacos and Mexican food I’d highly recommend

First time here and to be honest the reviews made me come in. It’s hard to find good street tacos in fallbrook so drove in to Vista to try them out. I had carnitas,buche,lengua, they were all good but loved the carnitas. Husband had al pastor and said they were ok. My kids had a shrimp quesadilla which they loved. It was loaded with shrimp, I appreciate it didn’t have a bunch of onion and bell peppers like other restaurants prepare them. We also had the two spiciest sauces and they had a good kick/taste to them. Highly recommend!

This was my first time here, I had the quesa birria taco, I was expecting it to be beef, but it was goat. They had 8 or 9 salsas, and I tried 5 of them. Let me warn you that some of them are super spicy. I’ll definitely be back to try the fish tacos. They looked so good!
