The serving size of roast beef and mashed potatoes was nothing short of laughable. For$15.99 there should be enough to fill the carry out container.

We had a table of like 20 people. The waitress handled it perfectly. I believe she said it was her first big table. I don’t know her name, but she was awesome. The food was really good. We had to wait a while but it was due to our group size. She checked in with us and made sure we were all good.

Bob Evans has always been one of my favorites. I have noticed that they’re not all the same and some are better than others. The Elkins area has a limited amount of breakfast specialized restaurants so I do plan to patronize this one whenever I can.

Sat 30 minutes, 20 min before getting a drink and then they wanted $15 for 3 drinks that weren’t even drank. Terrible service and management

I was not super impressed with my breakfast this morning at this location. The wait time for a table was much longer than expected and they seemed terribly understaffed. The one girl working the tables (that I could tell) was stretched pretty thin, but also maybe wasn’t good under pressure. She seated everyone as soon as I think she may have been able, though there were plenty of empty tables and booths all over the restaurant. It seems like some of the other servers could’ve helped with seating, but what do I know?
I ordered a coffee and a water. The coffee was exactly fine. A little water for my tastes, but good enough. Then we put in our food orders. I ordered the biscuit value meal that’s supposed to be an open biscuit with gravy, shredded sausage, cheddar, and an egg on it. With home fries. When it came out it was lukewarm at best, but after waiting 20 minutes after ordering for it, I ate it anyway. I’ve had worse, but I’d like to get my food warm maybe? The potatoes were cold towards the middles and my biscuit was definitively cool at the edges. Like I said, I ate it anyways because I was hungry and on a time crunch. But gees.
I noticed halfway through my quick meal (most of the potatoes were inedible) that the cutlery were super overused and kind of icky from being washed so much. I assume it was drying spots, because that happens…but maybe it’s time for an upgrade?
Eh. All in all it wasn’t really worth the $9 I paid, but it also wasn’t NOT worth it? I’m not sure what I’m expecting. I get food service as an industry, and it’s really tough, but I also get wanting to get in and get out with a good meal when you’re on the road (which I am). There just could’ve been a middle ground here I think. It was a bummer for sure.

Good food, farm house atmosphere , friendly staff, and new options on the menu every time I visit, which I am grateful for, but if you decide to try the dang that’s hot fried chicken just be warned it is really dang hot, maybe get the sauce on the side until you’ve tried it.

Buttery goodness! Restrooms could use a little more love but this place does a ton of traffic so I can’t complain much.
The steakhouse burger was delicious but wasn’t really the best value at $10.19 for the size you get (smaller than Burger King).
Still giving them 5 stars for the excellent service.

There was eight in my family tonight we had a delightful young waitress her first day on the job. I asked her name and I’m sorry I forget it. She double checked our order. Brought out all of our orders at the same time the food was so wonderful She was so helpful. We all use the word, “Excellent” service with her. When I went up to pay for my dinner, I had to stop and speak to her again and tell her what a great job she did and we really appreciate it First day on the job this young lady had to realize that yes she did an excellent job with us. We all will be back.

The kids meal portion of the fish was tiny. The waitress knew we were unpleased and then proceeded to say we could purchase him more food. Sorry but the kids meal should fill up a 7 year old. The adult chicken was almost not edible. Will not be back to another Bob Evan’s.
