My Wife and I ate here today, buffet style. The Gentleman behind the register was kind and helpful. The salad bar was nothing special. However, the vegetables were clean and fresh. The pizza was so bad. It was worse than frozen pizza. The crust was thin and nasty tasting. In trying to give an example of how bad it was, think of cardboard having a better texture and flavour. The toppings tasted horrible. We tried three different slices of fresh pizza out of the oven. One with pepperoni and sausage and cheese, pepperoni and cheese, and one with mushrooms. The crust was so bad we removed the toppings. The toppings did not taste good. They seemed to taste like it was either from old product or an inferior supplier. FYI, I used to work in a pizzeria. The interior of this restaurant is worn. It looks like it was repainted a while ago and done by someone who has never painted before. The soda machine is old and needs cleaning. The men’s restroom is so nasty. There is black mold at the sink where you wash your hands. I can not believe that this place has had an inspection recently. Looking into the kitchen seems like minimal effort to keep things going. It seems like the Owners are either tired or management’s hands are tired budget-wise. The staff was nice. I sure hope that they will take this review to heart. I should notify the health department. This place gives the feeling of in times past, being an awesome place to come to in this small town. Owners please clean and update, I sure would not want someone to get sick eating here. I have pictures of the men’s restroom. My wife said the ladies was also nasty.

We came in around 4:30 on a Sunday & it was fairly steady. Lady up front was friendly & helpful. They let the buffet get completely empty or only pretty old desert pizza before bringing out anything fresh. But it was good. Could have been better, but I didn’t leave upset or hungry, so..

Good selection of pizza on a buffet bar with an excellent salad bar. Always fast friendly customer service. The staff does a good job keeping the salad and pizza bar clean and well stocked. The building is older but well maintained. The bathrooms are really small but they are clean. Easy access to the parking lot from the roadway and into the restaurant.

Got to facility and it was pretty dead at the moment. However walk in and no pizza on the bar expect two half of pizzas that were cold from where they apparently been sitting for a while. They finally put a cheese and pepperoni pizza out about 10 minutes after we get there and that’s the only ones. Not pleased at all. Staff just sitting around chatting it up like there wasn’t anything to do when they definitely need more on the bar…. By far the worst village inn I’ve been too!

Continuing to serve Alexander County with the best pizza and salad bar buffet. Buffet always fresh, clean and well stocked, great customer service, clean & pretty spacious for it too be a smaller establishment, and there’s a large room in the back that’s used for overflow or parties.

Our first time, and also our last time. The only positive was the employees. Granted, the building is old, but I don’t know how it got a passing score to stay open. The walls and floors were in need of cleaning, and both the Men’s and Women’s restrooms were disgusting. The smell was overwhelming in both. The floors were uneven and filthy. The bathroom door was very grimy and hard to open. There is no way anyone in a wheel could fit in the small restroom. We had already ordered and paid, so we stayed. The pizza was coldish and the crust tasted like cardboard. The Salad bar seemed well kept, so I made a salad. By the time we left I had such a bad stomachache and by the time I got home I had flu like symptoms and was in the bathroom for a while. I wish we had a better experience.

I don’t eat pizza so I am not the best to grade this place on their pizza but based on their subs all I can say is that they are o.k . Their buffet salad bar is good, not great but they do keep it supplied with a variety of pizza. If you like that kind of thing. I only go there because it’s my 6 year old, granddaughter’s favorite place to eat.

Walked in food was cold and stale no pizza on the bar, service was horrible had to continuously ask for food to be put out meanwhile they’re playing music and having the time of their life while customers are waiting for food. Honestly and truly the worst village inn I’ve been too.
