The food is amazing! Never tried something like this.
They have friendly servers and lots of options. I would strongly recommend the Dosa; the food is delicious, and portions are big. They also have a kids’ menu, which is perfect for everyone.
The view of the inner harbour is pretty, and the ambience inside is welcoming and positive.

We ordered lentil vade and chicken koththu. The food was good and tasty, and the portions were satisfying. However, the customer service could be improved, as it was not very welcoming or attentive. Overall, good food, but a better service experience would make it much nicer.

I had a great experience at Dosa Paragon. The food was absolutely delicious, fresh, and full of authentic flavor. What really stood out to me was the excellent customer service.
A special mention to Yogita, who was extremely friendly, polite, and welcoming. She treated me with genuine warmth and made sure everything was perfect during my visit. Her professionalism and positive attitude truly enhanced the overall dining experience.
Highly recommend this place for both amazing food and outstanding service. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Please be prepared for your food to arrive after 2 hours after you order. The sun is right in your face and they don’t allow you to move spots. Extremely poor service. They had only one server. People are not served based on when the order was placed but more on the potential for complaints.

We were visiting Victoria and dropped into Dosa Paragon for a light dinner, the mushroom appetizer was delicious as were both the dosas that we ordered. Our server was friendly and her smile lit up the room. We will definitely be back.

Stumbled upon this hidden gem while looking for a place to eat for lunch. The waitress was so sweet and helped me pick out an amazing appetizer. Food was fresh and delicious. Can’t wait to come back! 🙂

It was definitely an interesting experience. We had never heard of or tried dosa before, so it was all new to us. The Mysore masala dosa was really spicy, but the crispy dough was great. The South Indian platter was a nice way to try a variety of foods, though it was on the plainer side. It tasted like a dense, savory donut and a couple of pancakes. The mango lassi was good, but the masala chai was amazing.
Unfortunately, the service was super slow. A couple of tables that arrived after us got their food first, and while I’m not sure if the dosa took longer to prepare, it would’ve been nice if everything came out more timely. I’m not sure if I’d rush to revisit just for that. I’m curious if their curry might be a better choice, so I might give it another try next time.

Loved most of the food. Wasn’t too keen on the fish curry wasn’t typical South Indian. Did like the dosa and idli and vada. Biryani was good. But the sambhar and chutney ( sauces) were yummy but dam were small portions like – they were serving rats. A little bigger portions would be good keeping the price in mind. Jamoon was good. Loves the ambience and the setting is beautiful. Parking was a nightmare – paid parking for 30min or an hour. But I guess it’s common downtown.

Hands down one of my personally favourite and best South Indian spots in Victoria, BC. The food is authentic, flavorful, and reminds you of home-style cooking. The dosas were crispy, the sambar was perfectly spiced, and everything tasted fresh.
It’s very family-friendly with a welcoming atmosphere, and the prices are reasonable for the quality and portions you get — truly pocket friendly.
Great service, great taste, and great value. Highly recommend for anyone craving real South Indian food in Victoria!
