I recently discovered a fantastic breakfast burrito spot in the Highlands. I’m a big fan of this place! The chorizo breakfast burrito was incredibly delicious and satisfying. They managed to make it quickly while still paying attention to detail. I also appreciate that it’s not too expensive.

I really want to like this place more, because it has such a great menu and potential. I got a bacon breakfast burrito and I had to pull out HUGE pieces of fat and gristle (see photo). I don’t understand how someone could be making this and think to themself, “this looks good. I should leave these giant pieces of fat in here, the customer will want to eat them I’m sure”. Way too much potato compared to other ingredients too. Would be 5 stars if they upped the meat quality and nailed the proportions. Green salsa and the tortilla was incredible, the rest- sub par.
They also charged a high credit card fee which was like 20% of cost of the burrito.
Any restaurant should hold the standard of “if it doesn’t look appetizing and edible, don’t serve it” and this place unfortunately didn’t do that in this case.

we absolutely love this place, and I don’t understand how it’s not constantly busy. breakfast is always outstanding (my bf says it’s the best huevos rancheros he has ever had) and we love the agua frescas. finally came for dinner and it was somehow even better than breakfast. their carnitas and barbacoa are both so flavorful, and whatever is in the red salsa that comes with your meal is magical. despite how much I’d like to keep this place a secret all to myself, I cannot recommend it highly enough

The good is great here and I love the service. Today I got not so good food except the chilaquiles. The tacos of Al pastor was served burnt as if it used yesterday’s food. The trips was served with fat and wasn’t clean as usually and cut to be cleaned.

Up early and looking for a quick breakfast place to eat on the run. L k what I found. Right off the main road, hidden is this cute Mexican restaurant.
Parking was a little difficult to do and they were already busy. I walked in and the restaurant is a lot bigger inside then it appears and so colorful. I loved it❣
I had to stop in and see what they had to offer for breakfast. Breakfast burritos were on the menu.
First time having a breakfast burrito and I was not disappointed. I’m so glad I only ordered one (1). I ordered the bacon and egg burrito. This burrito was packed with so many different flavors. It was heavy, temperature hot, a mild spice loaded with potatoes , egg and bacon. I couldn’t even eat the entire burrito. The price is reasonable and the burrito was perfect for on the go traveling.

I like it, been coming here for years from when it started out. Very honest and authentic food, not your typical American-Mexican food with everything tasting like water. Owner is a great guy, he’s normally there most of the days, he’ll make it right if food is cold or wrongly made. Great service from cashier and waitress, would recommend 100/10 when you want to eat at a place that has that Mexican ambient.

I ended up here by chance and so happy I did! Tortas atm served up a breakfast burrito full of eggs, potato, bacon, a bit spicy, and big as my forearm. It was $3.99 and delicious – got 2 meals out of it. Great salsa bar, the green sauce was amazing. The place was busy at 9:30 am, took a bit to get my order, but was worth waiting for. Would return and recommend

Delicious Mexican food ! ❤️ Everything was great from the tacos to the chicharrón gordita to the smothered burritos (asada)‼️ Highly recommend ❤️ *Ordered September 9th again and was very disappointed with the quality of the food! The asada meat wasn’t fresh, the rice was old and about to go bad, and the pastor meat tasted like it wasn’t fully cooked ! Won’t ve going here often to eat ♀️‼️
