The food was absolutely delicious! The moment we went inside, the smells were out of this world. We were warmly greeted and got great advice about what to order as first timers. We ordered the trifongo w shrimp and garlic sauce (amazing!) and trifongo w fried pork (the accompanying chicken stew broth and sauce were a great compliment). We also got the cream cheese flan. I’m a flan fan and it was the best I’ve ever had. The only downside was that we waited nearly 30 minutes for our food (and it wasn’t crowded). We know everything was made from scratch and to order but we weren’t expecting that delay. We’d go back in a heartbeat!

Great service and food selection. Reminded me of my grandma’s food. They also packed my daughter’s food nicely and had it ready by the time I was finished eating. I will definitely visit again soon.

Service was very friendly! The food was delicious, tasted like home! Aside from the pictures listed we also had empanadillas de carne, chicken, and octopus and an alcapurria. The octopus empanadilla was not great, it has a strong fishy smell like the octopus was spoiled. Other than that we loved all the food!

Excellent!
I had the pork chops with white rice, pink beans, and tostones, and everything was spot on. The pork chops were flavorful and cooked perfectly, the rice and beans were classic and comforting, and the tostones were crispy and fresh.
You can tell the food is made with care and real Puerto Rican flavor. Definitely coming. Highly recommend if you’re looking for authentic Puerto Rican food.

As a Jacksonville, Florida resident, I’ve been on the lookout for authentic Spanish and Puerto Rican culinary experiences. Discovering this establishment online initially raised doubts about local Spanish restaurants’ quality. Yet, after visiting and sampling their offerings, I was thoroughly impressed by the flavors and quality. Their mofongo, alcapurria, beans, and rice stood out, paired flawlessly with their tropical Pina colada. Based on this experience, I wholeheartedly recommend visiting this spot for a truly exceptional dining experience.

Placed an order through the too good to go app. Very excited to try it since I’d never heard of it before. I usually will use the good to go app to try different types of food that I’m not familiar with. Very disappointed. Received spaghetti and meatballs with mashed potatoes and beans and nasty wilted salad. I expected to receive Puerto Rican food since it is a Puerto Rican restaurant not sure how I ended up with spaghetti and meatballs. I imagine their actual food is good. BUT DONT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY IF ORDERING THROUGH THE TOO GOOD TO GO APP. You will not get anything good! But for $5 if you’re hungry and last resort. Go for it. Just my experience!

Popped by here today for lunch as soon as they open and holy cow! Super cute restaurant and the smell of food hits you as soon as walk in and the food is as delicious as it smells! I got chicken, yellow rice and beans, and fried pork rinds and everything was absolutely delicious. By far some of the best food I’ve ever had. Will be coming back and will definitely be reccomending this spot to everyone I know.
