This place is always busy but the service is fast and the food is really good. Plates and tacos are well served. Food comes out in a timely manner even when busy. Loved the sweet bread they give you when you arrive.

This is my second time to eat here. I have to say both times I have been totally impressed with the quality of the food and the price. The service is also excellent. They greet you immediately upon entry and someone is taking your order within minutes. They also get your drinks out quickly. The best part was the bacon! I am a fan of quality bacon, and their bacon is thick and flavorful and not too salty and just right. Also, the eggs were very good. I had the two egg plate rancheros style. I highly recommend stopping by this location. If you’re looking for a quick affordable and quality breakfast in Harlingen this is a great option. Also I’m happy to tell you that they are expanding and will have more dining space in the near future.

We hadn’t been to Blanquita’s over a year probably even longer since we moved. We come down to the valley and first thing we do for breakfast is come here. Horrible experience from start to finish. First, they never brought us bread like pan dulce which every other table had one okay fine whatever. then we order a sweet tea. they brought us unsweetened. all things i can over look. then i ordered a western omelette with yellow cheese inside and out. (my wife loves it like that specifically) they brought us the omelette with the wrong cheese (white cheese)and no cheese inside the omelette. she didn’t like it because the cheese was hard but she ate it. we were going to leave it at that no complaints we just won’t come anymore. well my partner went to pay and i see the cashier arguing with her while im at the table. i go over to see and the lady is charging us more for the cheese we didn’t even get and they charged us for a large pozole when i got medium. to top it off she’s telling my partner “This is the 2nd time!” insisting this has happened before as if we are refusing to pay for something we didn’t receive. which was completely not true. we don’t even live in the valley. honestly her customer service is the reason i’m even leaving a review because that was a horrible experience. we used to come so frequently when we lived here and had no complaints. now i see it’s just gone downhill.

absolutely disgusting. my husband bought me menudo and i found a dead fly in it. called the restaurant and was told a manager would call me back before 2pm. manager never called we had to call them. my husband then went to the restaurant to get a refund and the manager didnt even care to apologize or talk to him. never coming here again. the fly wasnt at the top, it was mixed in so if anyone ate menudo for breakfast this morning you ate bug juice

Delicious food! Went there for lunch and the Padilla was delicious! The decor in the restaurant is top class and beautiful! I will definitely be back. I do wish there were more drink options and the Chile Rellano is made to order so if you come looking for that dish be ready to wait! Otherwise, this place is a must!

So I ordered the one that has chicharon barbacoa and 3 eggs. While I was eating a employee by the name of Lalo was cleaning a table next to me and when I went in to eat beans I encountered a piece of wood or bark or something that I showed him and he was amazed and surprised and embarrassed literally breaking it in pieces in front of him then he took it to the back and never came back out when I check out the lady offers a $1 off my bill and apologizes the approach really I almost choked on a piece of bark or wood and I get a $1 off. Well not managed she really didn’t seem to care she just charged me and expected the next person up to be next

Food was great! Although I did eat a piece of egg shell when i was almost done with my food, but it happens so not a big deal for me. Waitress was attentive and did make sure we were fine with our food. Overall good service,food was great, clean tables, and enough space to sit

Authentic Mexican food and American food served in a very charming environment filled with the colors of Mexico. Started out our meal with a free Mexican sweet bread 🙂 There was a line to get in, but the wait time was short and under some shade. Very clean. Attentive staff.

Tried this place for a late lunch. Parking lot was full. Usually that is a good sign. The food was average. The chips were burnt and salsa was bland. I ordered the asado de puerco. It was good. Service was good.
