Food was fast and great. Had the hot chicken sandwich which was delicious (and the spice level was nicely mild). Fries are perfectly crispy but very salty. Overall a good spot to grab late night takeout in DTW.

Honestly, I’m a little shocked. I got their melting pot spuds, cheese bacon spuds, kids burger, a smash burger, and their pretzels as delivery. They honestly weren’t… great. The fries were stale and everything else was just subpar. The burgers were WAY overcooked. To the point of crunchy. The buns were soggy, and the pretzels were good, but the cheese sauce didn’t have a lid on either? So they spilled out all over the pretzels and made them soggy too.
The melting pot fries were… weird. They tasted like feet. The corned beef was fantastic, but the combination of cheese whiz and sauerkraut was bizarre.
As for the cheese bacon fries, they were pretty good, but stale.
Overall, I’d try this place again and eat nearby instead of ordering for delivery. But until that point, it was a solid waste of 60$

I got a smash burger and fries at Mentor Rocks two weeks ago. The fries were great but the burger was completely inedible. When I picked it up to take a bite, I noticed it was sitting in a puddle of grease. The bun was soaked with grease. I bit in, only to find the burger was pink all the way through. Since I didn’t want to ruin my night with food poisoning, I tossed it. Very disappointing to spend $19 for a burger and fries and the burger was that bad.

I had the opportunity to meet the owner yesterday when I grabbed a Burger on the go while I was riding my motorcycle on a beautiful day. The owner was fantastic and made me one of the best smash burgers I’ve had in a while.

These guys got ahold of my email address and have been sending out spam emails saying “hurry up and book our food truck!” and I sincerely hope this method backfires and that this review costs them more business than those slimy emails could have ever gained them. Don’t ever give them your money. Shame on you guys.
