Great diner on long beach road, the original location was across the street where the bank now is. They moved into this space about 8 years ago I believe. Food is great and the ice cream is spectacular, sometimes you may have to wait a little bit for service, but besides that it’s a good choice for any meal.

The waffles are thin. IHOP has thicker waffles. My server was nice. But it was one ladythat worked there when I was trying to eat, she would say things to me that didn’t make any sense And she was also at the register checking people out but when it was turn she just walked away and didn’t say anything so someone else had to check me out and the workers was saying the lady always do that never wants to work to much. Smh, that bad customer service skills to have. But I highly doubt I would return.
Overall the food was good and so was the atmosphere.

I have to say the food never disappoints when I’m here. Also during these tough economic times their prices are really great compared to other diners in the area. Let’s face it. Nothing is a dollar anymore nowadays but for the way things have went up in price. This diner is very reasonable when you go to the surrounding places. I know Sheryl and John a long time. After last night I was very disappointed. I went to the bathroom when I came out I held a paper towel in my hand not to touch door because
I had hip surgery in June and I need the other side done so I try not to get sick. Sheryl comes up to me at my table and says a couple who were customers said I deliberately threw the paper towel near her figurine near my table. I had it in my hand I cant bend and also sometimes I drop things due to osteoarthritis. Truthfully not sure what happened. She kept saying admit it. I called her on this she said she was pissed and
and took my steak sandwich I was eating pulling the plate and food away from me and said get out.She was annoyed I was making a scene.What owner of a restaurant would do such a terrible thing to pull food they were eating . Plus if you are one person she makes you sit at a cramped table. John is a nice person, personable. He wasn’t there last night. I just had to put this out because the way she acted was unacceptable. She kept saying admit it. Then why did I take a piece of paper towel out of the bathroom
She needs anger management classes. She always was cordial before even though she seats you in an awful spot if your one person.

The food here is terrific and there is an extensive menu to choose from. My favorite malt/milkshake on Long Island! I think it’s a little pricey but the quality and attention to detail here is worth it.
