Very welcoming, the staff is very friendly the owner checks in and greets all his clients very attentive to customer service. The food is delicious and the flavors take you back to the authenticity of Mexican cuisine just like mom or grandma’s cooking. Best Mexican restaurant to visit in Fresno.

Not good. One and done. Try it yourself maybe it was a bad day. Barbacoa was like chuck steak pieces dipped in watery blood. Taco was good toppings were bland. Carnitas smelled so bad. Tortillas were thick?

Very disappointing experience. The food was horrible and extremely overpriced — $12.99 for just two tacos is ridiculous, especially when the pork had absolutely no flavor. The atmosphere was okay, nothing special.
What really ruined the experience was the service. It was too much and felt rushed. We were still sitting at the table and actively drinking when staff came by multiple times trying to remove our drinks, which made us feel unwelcome and pushed out.
Overall, not worth the money. I will not recommend this place and will not be coming back.

The tacos de asada and al pastor were okay, we had to ask for salsa and they were out of the green unfortunately. The beans and rice were delicious, and so was the enchilada! Environment is cute but cramped, overall a good experience!

Today was the 1st time we have eaten at this restaurant. I saw them on Channel 30. We came here for our daughter’s birthday. We had the tostada bowl and the enchiladas combo plate and the food was very good. The atmosphere was wonderful and the service excellent from Lulu who has been here from the beginning 30 years ago. We will come back again.

Homemade corn tortillas and menudo after 10:30am WORTH the trip alone. Cozy restaurant limited seating. So relaxing inside -feels like hanging out at an aunt’s house, eating your grandmas cooking, and smells like heaven (if heaven was a Mexican food restaurant). Make an afternoon of it and kick back with some cold bottled beer and chips & salsa. ALL homemade by the sweet and hardworking people that are EL CONCHINTO!! Taste the love!! But don’t like it too much. I hate when my favorite spots get too crowded : )

Don’t let the 3 stars fool you, not many of my reviews get 5 stars. This place has a very authentic Mexican vibe. It’’s somewhat dimly lit in the evening but that only adds to the ambiance. My wife and went there with a couple of friends that have been there many times — though it was a first for us..
Nice waitress and prompt service. You can’t get a margarita (except a bottled wine one that’s around 5% ABV) so if that’s a must with your meal this place is not for you. I can’t recall anything exceptional about their chips and salsa. I ordered the usual: Chile relleno and decided to give their carnitas enchilada a try. The Chile relleno had really great flavors (nice fresh poblano chile) but I think it was a bit undercooked, as the cheese was not fully melted; nevertheless a decent chile relleno. The enchilada had a sauce that was unfamiliar to me but delicious. I loved their beans and rice. Glad I had a chance to visit this place.
