We went for my husbands birthday as a couple. I was a little apprehensive when we walked in as it felt so busy but it was honestly the best. It felt very authentic and being a different Indian menu to what we commonly know it forced us to try something different and we were not disappointed. The Chicken masala Dosa was amazing as was everything else. Lovely staff and service, we would highly recommend.

Went to Namaste for a birthday party on a Friday evening. It was very busy and the numbers for our party fluctuated a little and the staff were so accommodating adding a few extra seats when needed. The food is delightful, the spicy cauliflower as a start is delicious and the mains are spectacular. The menu is labelled vegetarian and non vegetarian meals (meat) so it encourages you to explore the veggie meals. Which I highly recommend you do! The veggie dishes are outstanding. This restaurant is an absolute must. Think Indian but done Namaste style! Very original and unique!

Seen good reviews about this place so thought id take my 3 daughters there for a saturday night dinner. First impressions were its a nice bright clean place. Sat at the table and after a few a few minutes had decided what to drink and eat. We had onion bhagis for starter and some poppadums. These had been just warmed up as still cold in the middle. I didnt make a fuss as the girls were hungry. The poppadums had some chuckney with them which you had to pay for. Other indian restaurants tend to give you these and poppadums for free as part of the meal instead of £1.50 each. The soft drinks were a bit on the small side and out of large 1.5 ltr bottles so slightly flat for the price. A can of soft drink would be better. Although busy it took a while to receive the main course especialky when other ppl who arrived after us ans had starters were receiving their main before us.. the main courses went down very well and tasted good. We decided to skip desert as again took forever to have the plates taken away. 3 of the plates and side plates were taken and one load was left and forgotten about. So i asked for the bill, paid up an left. More staff needed if very busy. In all a nice enough experience but in two minds about a second visit.

A great Indian restaurant in Exeter. Their vegetarian thali meals and Non Veg thali meals is superb. Masala dosa and chutneys are superb. We arrived at 2.45 afternoon and they still served us even though they are closing at 3 PM for noon afternoon break. Staffs are always smiling and serving the guest with utmost respect and cheerful face. Close to city centre. Parking also available within a walking distance.

We had an early dinner here at 5.30pm after a day shopping. Dropped in without a reservation and got a table. The place quickly filled up, and we only came here because of the disaster (see photo). When they say large dosa, they mean LARGE! it came with 4 dips and I couldn’t eat it all. Take it as a challenge! Namaste is a bit hidden away down a side street but not too difficult to find. Staff are friendly & efficient, good atmosphere & reasonable prices.

Tried the Porotta, Fried Rice, Chilly Chicken Gravy, and Chicken Korma. Food was tasty and satisfying, especially for South Indians craving homely flavours. The atmosphere was okay with plenty of seating, though the wait time for food was a bit long. Curries felt slightly overpriced, but overall, it was a good spot for a comforting meal.
