Food is superb and the peshawari naan is the best, and the mango chutney. Celebrated my birthday here and the staff has been really accomodating from the time we entered up until we left. Aside from the food being the highlight of our night, the staff who sang HAPPY BIRTHDAY really made this night memorable , not just for us but also for the other guests. Kudos to the team!

Warm, friendly service in an exceptionally comfortable restaurant with top quality Indian food. Standouts include the five lentil dal, the paneer in fresh tomato sauce and the samosas with chat and pomegranate. But everything we tried was fresh and the spicing is delicious. The basmati rice was best quality, scented and perfectly cooked. It was so good we came back two nights running. Great value for food of this quality. The galub jamon is also very good. And on a moonlit night, the setting is just amazing!

Went with my partner this evening, it was very quiet.
We had a curry each, 1 nan bread each and rice to share.
3 pints in total
The food was nice, although my curry was mostly sauce, the portions were very small
The bill was £71 and we left still feeling hungry.
Very disappointing..even more so when they added £6 service charge.
I don’t mind leaving a tip, but this was expensive for what we got
We go out for a curry regularly and don’t mind paying for it, but expect to be full afterwards.
I won’t be returning

Visited at lunchtime for my Dad’s birthday – the staff immediately mentioned the occasion to me, seated us in a nice window seat and were very attentive. The food portions were very reasonable for the price and everything was delicious, the cocktails and wine was also nice. The staff were very kind and able to advice on ingredients and spice-levels of each dish as well as wines

Exquisite food and vibrant atmosphere. The place boasts of Michelin 2020, and has a relatively small menu. It’s on the pricier side, but the quality of the food is good. I wanted to enjoy a seafood main course as curry but none of the seafood main-courses were curry. The laalmans was beautifully flavoured but the meat was dry and shredded. The Gilaafi kabab was brilliant though.

A nice restaurant which offers Indian cuisine foods. It’s located in a prime area near port of Hull with a good outdoor arrangement. The entrance of the place overwhelmed me as there was a idol of Indian God. About food, it’s really amazing. Both quality & quantity is pretty good.
Highly recommend if you are visiting Hull & want to taste Indian cuisine.

Pretty good! Our group had the tasting menu. We were accommodated well in the upstairs event room.
Overall the food was good: 4 courses of the vegetarian menu were exceptional, the rest were a bit average and we were served a block of paneer in 2 dishes, hence just missing out on 5 stars on this occasion.
Would definitely come back to try the á la carte menu though.

STUNNING FOOD & EXCEPTIONAL SERVICE!
So nice that there are still eateries that actually have passion and attention to detail.
Thank you for a lovely dining experience!

Greating was “do you have booking” from behind the bar. I would open with hello ot welcome… lamb chops well presented, over seasoning smothered the lamb flavour. Vindaloo pork, was a ill thought out mis match of flavours. Served on a barely warm bed of potato in tomatoes, with a pot of warm tomato sauce, no real flavour or spice. Nobody popped back to ask how our meal was..
