Super cute coffee place we found on our first trip to Fairhope. This town is a gem. Big drink menu and a few food items. You don’t need a bunch if you do them well. Karla had a smoothie which was just right. I had a cold brew which was strong! We had some Brooklyn bagels; mine with ham, egg and cheese. Karla had the cream cheese with everything bagel. I’d recommend it all. Very friendly staff. All kinds of Knick knacks in the store. No indoor seating but nice front porch. We will be back.

Cool eclectic coffee shop. Will be back anytime I can! The ham egg and cheese on the everything bagel was delicious. Yogurt parfait, equally lovely. Snickerdoodle and kitchen sink coffees were CRAZY good! Great staff and friendly inclusive environment. The art and available gear are wonderful too.

Still My Favorite, But Hoping for a Return to Its Roots

Coffee Loft has been my go-to for years—my favorite coffee shop, hands down. I’ve always loved the cozy, sit-down vibe it used to have—the kind of place where you could curl up with a good book, chat with a friend, or just take a quiet moment for yourself. Lately, though, it feels like it’s shifted more into a touristy drive-through stop, and I really miss the charm and heart it used to have.

I’ve also noticed some changes in the drink recipes. They seem noticeably sweeter now, and it feels like the balance that made them so good is getting lost. The Avalanche is still my all-time favorite—it’s one of the best coffee drinks I’ve ever had—but even that tastes a little different lately.

I say all this with love. This place means a lot to me, and I’ll always support it. I just hope to see it return to the basics and the atmosphere that made it so special in the first place. There’s nothing wrong with growth—but I’d love for it to feel like home again.

Wonderful local coffee shop. This cute little coffee shop offers local paints/photography, shirts and of course coffee for sale. They have a variety of specialty coffee drinks which is always fun. This place isn’t really set up for hanging out though as there’s not a ton of seating. We went back twice for the French Toast cold brew, as the misses is a cold brew fanatic. Great little place worth trying!

Greeted when walked in door. Cozy atmosphere with interesting coffee flavors and many choices that I have never seen before.
The coffee was full of distinct rice flavor, wanted another after first cup.

My first time coming today. Though it did take about 10 minutes, everything was AMAZING! staff was kind, the Avocado toast is so good and the atmosphere was so cool! I loved seeing all the small details. Definitely Recommend.

Their coffee is consistently excellent, with a wide range of espresso drinks, cold brews, and creative seasonal specials. The baristas are friendly and skilled, taking genuine pride in their craft. Beyond the coffee, The Coffee Loft also offers a good selection of teas, smoothies, and baked goods, including local favorites that pair perfectly with a quiet morning or an afternoon pick-me-up.

Used to love this place. They got rid of all inside seating due to COVID and then never replaced it due to loss of “profit margin” because people would enjoy the space for too long. Yall lost me. Put in a drive thru so people can leave even faster. What a bummer.

I did not know about this place (I dont live in fairhope lol) and I googled a search for coffee shops amd this one popped up. My daughter and I got us a frappe from there and our drinks we’re better than starbucks!! They had better flavor options and the staff was awesome at helping us “virgins” out, I highly recommend this place, well worth the drive!!

One and done. First of all there are no tables or chairs inside, so anything you purchase, you have to take it with you. There is plenty of room for them, they just took them all out during COVID. and now they don’t want any of them back because they don’t want people lingering around taking up parking. A few tables outside are in the hot sun. What cafe has no tables to enjoy a meal and a beverage?!
Our drinks were ready with a reasonable speed, but the food took forever, while everyone is lingering around waiting for their orders.
So they have five people working, trying to save money by having no sitting room, and still taking forever to deliver. This place belongs in California, definitely not Alabama.
This was our first and last time visiting.
