Stopped by Nette’s Fresh Fritay & Grille this afternoon, after I heard they had a new menu item, Jerk Chicken. As always, I called ahead so my food would be ready when I arrived. Nette’s Fresh Fritay & Grille is a food truck that has good-tasting Haitian food and full of flavor. This dish did not disappoint; it had its own profile or take on Jerk Chicken. Just to warn you, though, it brings the heat ; but that is where the plantains, aka bannann, come in handy, to take the heat off. I enjoyed it, even with the heat. Jerk Chicken with Haitian flair. Good job overall, but for the masses, maybe reduce the heat a bit. See you soon, Nette’s Fresh Fritay & Grille.

I’ve given Nette’s Fresh Fritay & Grille multiple chances, and unfortunately the experience has been consistently poor.
There is no greeting or acknowledgment when you approach the truck, so you’re left standing there not even knowing if you’re able to order. The staff often does not listen properly, which leads to orders being wrong and repeated mistakes. Despite these ongoing issues, you’re required to pay before you can even see or confirm your food — which feels unfair when errors keep happening.
I’ve personally witnessed poor food-handling practices, including staff eating food before serving customers, which is not acceptable in any food service setting. I’ve also seen other customers complain about their orders being messed up, so this clearly isn’t a one-time issue.
When I tried to calmly explain how I’d like my order handled to avoid mistakes (based on previous experiences), I was met with condescending and patronizing behavior. Instead of being professional, the staff was rude and dismissive.
Overall, the customer service is extremely lacking, and the food-handling practices are concerning. I cannot recommend this place and won’t be returning.
Most recent visit: February 22, 2026, around 7:00–8:00 PM.

I had Haitian fried chicken, rice, and fried plantains, and let me just say… that plate did not disappoint. The chicken was seasoned all the way through—crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and full of that bold Haitian flavor you just can’t fake. The rice was perfect, not mushy, not dry, just right with that savory kick that ties the whole meal together. And the fried plantains? Soft, sweet, and golden with just the right amount of crisp.
It was one of those meals that makes you lean back, smile, and debate if you should order another plate. If you’re craving real, flavorful, comfort food, this is it. Highly recommend!

I wish there was a way to give zero stars. Two months ago, they charged my card for two passion fruit juices when I only ordered one. When I brought it to their attention and showed them proof that I was charged twice, they told me to contact the owner and acted clueless — and mind you, the owner was standing right there.
I decided to let it go and continued trying to support them, but they kept messing up my orders every time. They don’t let you check your food before paying and expect payment upfront. You end up waiting, and they don’t even know who was there first or who just arrived.
The place is very disorganized, the customer service is poor, and they truly do not care if you’re satisfied. Order there at your own risk.

The food is good for the most part. The inside if my patty was cold, it had multiple bones and it had no eggs. I asked for eggs but I guess the lady wasn’t trying to hear my questions/ requests. The customer service is horrible. Im Haitian and I try to support my peoples but customer service is everything to me, personally! We have to do better forreal.

Terrible! Terrible! The fried turkey was dry like they recooked it over again! The customer service was at a ZERO! No friendly faces or good attitudes. The food was horrible and taste old!! I don’t even want to mention the macaroni they sold me! Ugh! And they were very rude! I will never go to this food truck again!! Waste of 25 dollars!!! Very upset with the service and food!

Any time I visit my mom, a stop at Nette’s for some food and patties is non-negotiable. You can always count on the quality and taste to be consistent.
