We got the beef stick, beef vermicelli, pork and chicken fried rice, the pork and shrimp spring rolls, and mango sticky rice.
Absolutely fantastic and made fresh. I can’t wait to be back!
My food was lukewarm/cold by the time I received it which I thought was a bit odd.
The beef sticks I’d rate a 3.5/10. They were cold and nothing too great. I wouldn’t order it again.
The star of the show was the mango sticky rice! 10/10. It was fresh. The mangos were soft. The rice was moist. And they give you extra sauce! It was delicious. But it wasn’t very warm so I’m not sure how long they waited to give it to me.
I’m still debating if it was worth an hour and 15 minute wait, especially as I wasn’t waiting in line, I was just waiting for the food. I might go back, I might not. I drove for an hour and a half and waited an hour and 15 minutes so it was about 4 hour trip for the mango sticky rice.
I really enjoyed the mango sticky rice so I tried coming back another day for more even though the wait time left a bad taste, I decided to give them a second chance. I tried calling before hand so I wouldn’t make an unnecessary trip, no answer. I still drove there , they had a sign on the window stating they wouldn’t be open up again until August 1st. So I left and came back on August first, on the way there I called and asked if I could place an order for pickup . Since the first time I came I waited 40plus minutes I wanted to get ahead of the game, keep in mind this was 2.5 hours before closing time. The lady otp stated that they weren’t taking anymore orders due to being backed up. Seriously?!! 2.5 before closing ? Why even bother to have your closing time at 8pm. I was upset but decided that you know what they’re pretty popular so maybe that’s why they’re backed up.
I came back today , Sunday, 2 hours before, I didn’t call I was willing to take the risk. The moment I step up to the window they already had a sign up stating they weren’t taking anymore orders. They saw me and didn’t even acknowledge me trying to get their attention.
Look I understand they’re busy , but maybe if this is a recurring issue and you guys are shutting down 2:5 hours before actual closing everyday then maybe it’s to hire more employees or get a bigger spot .
It’s super disappointing because the food is actually good, if you plan on making a long trip to get the mango sticky rice . My advice is just don’t even waste your gas or time because they most likely won’t be taking anymore orders by the time you get there.
Tony’s tacos are right next to them , that’s a place you can count on
I would recommend this place for authentic Thai food.
