Has lunch here. Price is kind of expensive but not terrible because the food was decent. $8 for 5 takoyaki felt overprized.
Found a hair in my Sake Don when I was bit over halfway through my bowl. They offered making a new one which I was getting full and I didn‘t want to risk having another bowl with hair. Then they offered discount so I said I‘ll take it. I took the rest of the raw fish, and they took the rest of the food(40% left)
Discount was 10% and it total it was $4.25 off from $42 meal. I was expecting refund because the food didn‘t pass the basic hygiene standard. Didn’t make into a drama 무 just paid because I assumed that it was their policy.
If you’re okay with a potential of eating food that tastes decent but that might have hair in… and pay $70 for 3 people…um….yeah.

Went with my kids and WOW that was some good sushi! Our waiter was awesome and attentive, and they even surprised us serving our last 2 rolls on a “scene.” It was a great experience and we’ll definitely be back. 5 stars all the way!

Great location & the food was fantastic. You can eat inside or out on the patio for people watching on Silver Spring. The presentation is very impressive & the portions are good sized. There is a small parking lot in the back but parking on the street is easy too. You can easily walk from Bayshore if you wanted to park in the ramp & go shopping.

This place has great food and service. We enjoyed every aspect of our visit. Their card machine was down when we arrived but there are several banks within a short walk so that was an easy fix. They do have a small free parking lot in the back. As you may or may not know that’s a luxury the closer you get to the city. Food was fresh and delicious and they have a pretty decent selection of beverages.

This was my first experience here. I ordered over the phone after checking out the menu online. When I arrived to the establishment, there wasn’t much parking available but there were many spots available for street parking. When entering the restaurant, it was pretty full for a Friday early afternoon. I explained to the cashier that it was my first time and she kindly provided me with a menu and suggested other popular dishes. I will say the Godzilla roll was delicious! It was sweet and a bit spicy. I will be returning to try more sushi 🙂

I’ve only ordered delivery from Kawa, but I’ve ordered it many times. Hands down the most unique special roll offerings. So often special rolls at other joints basically offer the same ingredients, just assembled in a different configuration. But Kawa takes it a step above the norm.
Items featured in their rolls that I find to be outside the norm include: blue crab meat, smoked jalapeño, peppered tuna, honey roasted peanuts, honey kimchi sauce, and sliced apple.

Didn’t stay to eat since they didn’t have ramen on the menu like the other locations (and I don’t like sushi very much) but the food I saw other people eating looked fantastic. Cute little spot if you’re a sushi head.

Had a great experience. Loved the service and the food. I tried the house salad, miso soup, beef negimaki, T-rex roll. All of them were phenomenal. The T-Rex roll was just so cruncy, delicious and flavorful. The house salad comes with a dressing which is so good. Also drank the hot saki which was amazing. Absolutely love the place and highly recommend it.
