Food 4/5 – Ordered sweet pork ribs, Okinawa sashimi and bento with mixed tempura/eel avocado roll. The ribs were delicious, as it almost perfectly falls off the bone as you bite into it, and the glaze sauce gives a little spice. By the time the ribs got to our table, it had cooled down enough to slightly tender. Okinawa sashimi was very fresh, with massive cuts of each variety of fish, definitely the highlight of our meal. The bento with mixed tempura/ eel avocado roll was good. The tempura had a nice batter fry with no excess oil. Miso soups were good but can be served hotter.
Service 5/5 – There were big parties during our visit, and our server did their best to attend to us. We did have to remind our server for drink refills after they were notified. Due to the long wait of other table orders, we were comped miso soups and discounted appetizers without asking, definitely a nice gesture.
Ambiance 5/5 – Interior is well decorated and invites you to look at all the detailing, like a mini-step into Japan.

Kopan Sushi and Ramen is our favorite sushi and ramen spot. We love the BOGO roll 50% special and we order that every time. We always come back to this location because of the quality of the sushi rolls and size. We have tried quite a few of their rolls, raw rolls, baked, and deep fried and they are all amazing.
Their ramen is great as well, our favorites are the Miso and tonkatsu. The broth and the ramen noodles are very memorable.
The atmosphere always keeps us coming back as well, the interior is amazing and so welcoming.

Pretty good Japanese restaurant. The staff were really accommodating for our large party. Big menu so even those who don’t eat sushi (or ramen?!) can find something.
Sushi much better than the ramen (if you’re used to ramen in Japan), but the variety of rolls unique to California made it worth it!

Very good place. My first time here and it was very pleasant, Annie was our server and she was very nice with my brother and I. We tried the Tonkotsu Spicy 2, Kara Miso Ramen, and for last one California Roll. The Ramen was very good, light and very good for dinner. If you want to enjoy a dinner with a person you would like to have a very personal and private space together, this is the right place to go with those persons. Definitely would come back

‼ ️ I have been looking for delicious and inexpensive Japanese food recently, and finally I found this treasure izakaya with high appearance level and high cost performance in Loran Heights!

Their sukiyaki and ramen prices are also very affordable, ten can eat a large pot, suitable for winter to warm the stomach!

One of the best sushi bar in town, came here for some ramen and was instantly attracted by their sushi, we ordered the ginza sushi plate, where it comes with 12 piece of chef special. Loved every bit. Also the king mushroom steak is a must try, very flavorful and juicy mushrooms! The services are great and fast with good greetings. We were sat right away and were greatly welcomed! Must try sushi spot and great place for curry lover too!

This was my third time dining at Kopan Ramen. I’m not sure why, but my first two visits didn’t leave a strong impression. However, this time, I was pleasantly surprised!
My dad ordered the pork cutlet ramen, which had a rich, flavorful broth and a perfectly crispy pork cutlet—it was absolutely delicious. I went for the Ginza sushi, and both the presentation and the freshness of the fish were excellent. What impressed me the most was the Stuffed Avocado. I had never thought of eating avocado this way, but the one they used was large, perfectly ripe, and topped with spicy tuna—an amazing combination!
Not only does this restaurant offer a diverse menu, but they also put a lot of effort into their dishes. The interior design makes you feel like you’re in a Japanese izakaya, creating a relaxed atmosphere to enjoy your meal.
The staff’s warmth and friendliness were also something I truly appreciated. I’ll definitely be inviting my friends to join me here soon!
