I’ve been wanting to try the broasted chicken at The Joint near Garrison and Mille Lacs Lake for quite some time, and last evening we finally stopped in — they did not disappoint. The chicken was excellent and lived up to the hype.
The service was awesome and genuinely friendly, which really adds to the supper club experience. A fun fact we learned is that they use local growers for their produce and meat, and it’s great to see a gem of a supper club supporting local farmers.
Easy access right off Hwy 169, making it a perfect stop whether you’re local or heading to or from the lake. We’ll definitely be back

We have had excellent expierences in the past and have recommended in the past but we will be avoiding at all costs in the future. We openly heard staff talking about other customers. The staff was changing shifts but we’ve never been treated worse at a restaurant in our lives to the point of needing a Google review.

My husband and I just stopped here for dinner. The last time we were here it was terrible service, food, etc. thought we would give it another chance this time was worse. I had a cheeseburger he had a patty melt both had no taste. French fries were the best of the whole meal I had to go up and asked to have another drink. I had to go ask for my check. The only people they cater to in this bar – restaurant is the people that sit up at the bar all the locals!!! We will never come here again!!

We stopped today for an early dinner. We were greeted when we came in which is always nice. We ordered a chicken basket which was tender and juicy. We also ordered a soup and salad meal the salad was fresh and tasty the soup was Hungarian mushroom one of the best I’ve had. We also had bread pudding with whiskey sauce also delicious. Servers were very friendly. Definitely recommend.

Very good food, very friendly and very clean. I ordered hamburger w/fries, husband ordered cheeseburger w/fries and daughter ordered bacon cheeseburger w/fries…everything was perfect and very good. Waiter we had was nice and friendly. He was great. I recommend stopping if anyone is in the area.

Was a little bummed because my parents talked about how good this place was. They took myself and my aunt and uncle. My dad and I both ordered ribeyes and were served prime rib. My dad kept his but I really wanted the ribeye and don’t care for prime rib. So they remade mine but rushed and ended up being me a very rare steak. So by the time I got my steak which was finally cooked perfectly, I had kind of filled up on my sides. They didn’t discount or anything for the error. I was little disappointed that with not one but 2 mistakes, you would think they would compensate a little.

Great place right near Farm Island Lake. Went for lunch. I got the roasted chicken leg basket special. I never have a four legged chicken before! Lol!
The service was great and we had a good time. There were 6 of us, 3 dads and our 3 sons. Definitely going back when I am in the area.
