Millie’s is hands-down a must-visit when you’re on Nantucket. If you’re lucky enough to grab a table on the second floor around sunset, you’re in for one of the best views on the island—stunning skies over Madaket Beach make the perfect backdrop for a relaxed, unforgettable evening.
The vibe is casual but buzzing, with friendly and welcoming hostesses who set the tone the moment you walk in. It’s the kind of place where you instantly feel at ease. The food never misses—everything is consistently delicious, but the quesadillas are a standout, and the queso? Creamy, flavorful, and dangerously addictive. You’ll want to order an extra.
Don’t leave without trying one of their margaritas—they’re fresh, perfectly balanced, and not overly sweet. Whether you’re coming off the beach or planning a night out, Millie’s delivers the island’s beach dining experience.
Mix feelings about Millies this summer 2021. It’s the only one spot to dine at Madaket (still the only one). It’s worth the long bike ride or drive just to see the sunset.
Now Millies is just a regular spot at the end of the island.
Since last year, they have had many sitting areas inside and out. Kids and dog friendly. The menu is the same as years ago. Great choice of salads, taco, and saved with rice , quessadilla, and sandwiches. Price is overall fine for Nantucket.
Drinks are ok. The kid’ menu is just perfect.
Food is coming out really quick – that is great. You can be quickly in and out.
Now, what i did not like looked like they did not have enough worker/ staff . We saw our waitress only 2 times to take the order and collect the money. We had to ask different staff to assist us .There are plenty of tables but nobody can clean them …
I hope for the rest of the summer season the services upgrade.
We will definitely be back .
Highly recommending the Mexican street corn – just delicious.
My favorite is the steak quessadilla and salmon salad.
Guacamole was pretty standard. Chips were nicely salted
Shrimp Po boy was really tasty with the sauce. Very generous with the shrimp so it’s hard to eat it as a sandwich
Fish tacos were super fresh and good too
Corn and clam chowder was more corn than clam but really fresh and tasty with the grilled corn taste
Only complaint is the cold rice salad thing they give you as a filler
