If you are looking for a nice Persian restaurant with good Persian food in the valley then I recommend Kabob Village VIP in Calabasas. I had the chefs special which is great if you have a big appetite and can literally feed 3. I also had the person berry rice. This was my first time trying it and I really liked it. It was sweet with a hint of tart. The meats in the chefs special are flavorful. It came with 4 different types. Another thing I’d love to recommend is their juicy chicken. Their portions are really good and the ambiance at the restaurant is lovely. Parking here was valet but I’m sure you can probably find parking up the street. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Definitely check them out. I have some videos that didn’t upload here but you can check my Toni the foodie YouTube to see video.

The bread was excellent — truly some of the best we’ve had in LA, thanks to the baker.
For appetizer, we ordered kashke bademjan (eggplant delight), which was just okay and not very impressive.
For the main dishes, the beef kobideh was disappointing, with too much fat and very little meat, and the baghali polo with lamb shank was mediocre and lacked good taste.
The white rice was good, and bean rice was average.
For dessert, we had tea and baklava. They charged $3 per person for tea and $9 for three pieces of baklava, which turned out to be a single overly sweet dessert with no real flavor.
Overall, aside from the bread, the food was not satisfying.

Service was good.

I ordered from this restaurant and it was an amazing experience! The rack of lamb was cooked perfectly — tender, juicy, and full of flavor. The chicken kabob and beef koobideh were grilled to perfection, and the barg kabob was melt-in-your-mouth delicious. The baghali polo was fragrant and flavorful, and the fresh herbs, salad, and grilled vegetables made the meal even better. The bread was soft and fresh, and everything was packed neatly and still warm when it arrived. Truly a feast — highly recommend!

Finally a great Persian restaurant in the heart of Calabasas! The food was delicious and portions very generous. The food is tasty without being too heavy. My parents and I enjoyed the experience and will definitely be back! The sister duo who took care of us were absolutely a delight and amazing! A great experience❤️

Kebab Village – 5-Star Experience
Had a wonderful experience at Kebab Village. The food was exceptional — full of authentic flavor and beautifully presented. The customer service was outstanding, with special thanks to Fatima and Eva for their professionalism and warm hospitality.

The atmosphere was enhanced by great music, creating a welcoming and enjoyable environment. Even as non-Iranians, we felt completely at home and truly valued as guests.

Highly recommend Kebab Village for anyone looking for delicious food, excellent service, and an authentic cultural experience. We can’t wait to return!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5/5 – Absolutely Outstanding Experience at Kabab Village Calabasas!

From the moment I walked into Kabab Village, I could tell this place takes pride in what they do. The restaurant is spotless — tables, floors, and even the small details like the silverware and water glasses are perfectly clean. Cleanliness: 10/10.

The staff is incredibly attentive and welcoming. They check on you just enough to make sure you’re comfortable, but never overbearing. You can tell they genuinely care about their guests and take pride in providing excellent service.

Now, the food absolutely amazing. I ordered the Kubideh Plate, and it was perfection. The meat was tender, juicy, and full of authentic Persian flavor. The rice was fluffy with just the right touch of butter, and the grilled tomatoes added a perfect smoky balance. Every bite tasted fresh and homemade, not like a rushed meal but something made with love and tradition.

You can taste the authenticity in every dish it truly feels like a piece of Persian culture brought to Calabasas. The flavors, presentation, and quality easily make this one of the best Middle Eastern restaurants in the area.

If you’re looking for authentic Persian food, friendly service, and a clean, relaxing environment, Kabob Village is the place to go.

Highly recommend the Koobideh Plate — you won’t be disappointed!

Very Good music (DJ). Nice homey family oriented atmosphere. Food was good, liked the chicken and chenjeh (chunk meat) kabobs. Wasn’t too thrilled with koobideh. All Served family style. Loved the tahdig (crispy rice with stew).
