FANTASTIC place to eat. My boyfriend got their rib tips as a starter – I am picky with pork and usually never like it – and I could not put these down. They are so freaking good. We got the fish and chips as well, and it was super hot and crispy. We’ve been a couple times, and I still have yet to order something I haven’t loved. Plus, staff is fast and friendly and prices are reasonable for the portions you get.

We just did my father-in-law’s celebration of life at Local Flavor this past weekend. It was one of his favorite restaurants in town, so it made sense to honor him by hosting the event there. Not only is the food great, the staff and owners are also amazing. We were served pulled pork and wings with a variety of sides. Everything was delicious, and the bartender was incredible. We highly recommend this place and we will be stopping by every time we’re in town.

This all depends on what you like. We tried the half order of nachos and thought different they were good. I had the yardbird with grits and my wife had the tamales. Both were good. I didn’t care for the carrots atop the chicken but an easy fix. The tamales were good and not dry. We went after 2:00 and it was quiet which we prefer. We would go back.

Had lunch here today and it was great! I had the crispy smoked yard bird and it was honestly one of the best dishes I’ve ever had. My sons had burgers and they looked very good. Fries were homemade.

Overall excellent burger and atmosphere. Our drinks could have been refilled without asking, but we did visit during a busy time. Prices were great and reasonable as well. Great first experience and will definitely be back.

It was crazy hot outside, the AC was not working well enough to keep up with the humidity. That’s the bad part. The good part you need to know about Local Flavor is the staff is friendly and helpful. You might need their help in picking something to try. Tacos, burgers and a very wide variety of things to try, even a dessert menu with some neat options. My choice was the Brisket Torta, Smokey and very tasty, the only thing I would have changed would have been adding a few slices of avocado. The have cut fresh fries were ok, but I like mine a little crispy, so they were a wash. I’d try a different side. Try these guys out if you haven’t yet. It’s not a big fancy new place but the crew make it great.

Looking for a restaurant with its own unique flair? Look no further than Local Flavor Restaurant! We didn’t quite know what to expect but Local Flavor was definitely a great find when we were in Wichita. The chips and queso appetizer was good. Little Flip Out wanted a burger and side salad and it was a hit. Littlest Flip Out shared the Fish and Chips plate with Mrs. Flip Out and they both really enjoyed it. The fish was crispy and had great flavor. I had the chili burger, which was lip smacking good. The chili left me wishing that I had ordered a bowl of it, it was that delicious. The staff was friendly and accommodating; they had great suggestions as well. Everything was very fresh. A really great place!

Excellent sandwiches. The meats are top-notch, smoked and full of flavor. Got the Onion Rings and Fried Pickles as sides perfectly done and not too greasy. This kind of quality is getting harder to find. We’ll definitely be back.
