The restaurant was like an icebox I ordered a Philly cheese steak sandwich of course with cheese, so I go to check out I wanted a combo I was told I couldn’t get a combo because I had gotten a bottle water. I was charged for the cheese that they put on the sandwich $2.75 also the cheese curds had 9 pieces for $5.99 I paid $23.21 for a sandwich meal I wanted onions and peppers I’m thinking the veggies are fresh however they are out of a jar. The manager wasn’t the nicest they had onion rings on my tray I said I didn’t order that she gave me a nasty look then pulled them off my tray. I will not return just a disappointing visit. I can see why the store is empty. The store manager needs to understand the importance of customer service and not be rude she was the one who cashed me out and just gave me the worst look. The cook was very nice.

First time eating there. I’ve recently been diagnosed with celiac disease, so I was nervous going out to eat. I mentioned this at the start of my order- they cleaned the grill, I watched several glove changes, the ingredients were gotten from containers in the fridge, the staff was knowledgeable about things that were safe and not safe… making sure that cross contamination was a minimal as possible. It was amazing!!!! I couldn’t have asked for a better experience or staff helping. I will definitely be back.

I have no idea what the hell that girl Deanna was talking about. It’s a little chilly, whatever, but I’d just imagine it’s as hot as the devil’s ahh crack behind the grill. So I get the lower temperature. I’m a little big-backed, so I order a lot for one person. The food is always PIPING hot and super yummy. The staff are awesome and I always have a smile on my face when ordering. It’s clean in there, too! Hard to say that about other places. 10/10 everytime I go there, and I hope Deanna never writes a review again.

My twin brother and I came in here for some lunch after working a hard shift, the food was absolutely delicious and the staff are very welcoming and kind. Jennifer (the manger) is very welcoming and always greets the costumer’s with a smile, it is a good atmosphere all around. Will definitely be coming back here!

I ordered a Philly cheesesteak, and it was so yummmmy!! The girls that work there in the mornings are so sweet and friendly. They looked like they enjoyed their job and working together. It is nice to see people like what they do. I will be back soon.

I had eaten at the Davenport location. That one is closed. This location looks similar but has very little energy. Food was underwhelming. Staff nice enough.

Service and ambience was good. Love that the interior is decorated with lots of historic photos of Cedar Rapids. Food was okay. There are some vegetarian options, but I don’t think it compared other similar places in the area. Staff made sure to clean the grill area before cooking our food, since we ordered all vegetarian.

My maps history says I’ve stopped in every month or two for at least the last year, and I’m sure I’ve kept that pattern up for a few years now, at least since the Iowa City location closed. The Philly steak sandwiches are great, but I’ve been hooked on the steak nachos for a while, and double-meat is always worth the upgrade! I like my food saucy, and they always deliver here!
