20241031 First time here. Bring cash to save credit card fee $$$. This is a very simple deli with a reasonably priced menu. I got the warmed combo sandwich that came with lots of meat! I wish there was an option to add some veggies like onions, raw or grilled. I also would have liked it better if each slice of meat was grilled separately, which would be tastier. I should have asked for the bread to be warmed on the grill as well. I need to lower my expectations . The employee was friendly and helpful. I wished he mentioned the daily special, which was displayed by the register and not by the overhead menu. I would have gotten that instead of a sandwich. I like their drink options. I never had soursop drink, and it was not sour (thankful) and it was real good! The owner was very nice. If I come back, I will try the special.

The BEST Reuben we’ve ever had. The Manhattan was pretty good too. We got both and shared halves. Photos are half of the sandwich. If we weren’t greedy, one sandwich is enough to share. GREAT value for the price. Staff was entertaining, and there was a few tables to dine in even though most picked up to go.

This place is a hidden gem. Large portions and low prices especially for Fairfax. Good daily specials. Only thing is the cashier that can almost make you lose your appetite. He’s pretty nasty and unkempt. Glad he’s not fixing or touching any food cause I wouldn’t even think about eating here if he was.

Food was delicious, but that one bald cashier (Robert, I think?) was very unsettling to be around. Also, he was loudly racist about Asian culture (something, something, the Chinese relatives come out for the red envelopes when it’s wedding time).
