This has been my go-to restaurant for caribbean food for several years now. Unfortunately, today I had to place an order for delivery since my car is in the shop. I ordered 1 shrimp curry roti and 2 chicken curry roti. I requested the roti be put separately so it isn’t delivered soggy. I was sent containers of curry and no roti. Not even 1. That was going to be our dinner for tomorrow

I came from Atlanta for a conference and always look for good Jamaican food since I’m of Nigerian descent and love Caribbean cuisine. This spot did not disappoint! The food was delicious — the meat was tender and falling off the bone, full of rich flavor. The cabbage was soft and well seasoned, and the plantains were perfect. The young gentleman who served me was very kind and accommodating. No complaints at all — keep up the great work! I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in town.

The curry veg is good, and practically two full meals with how much they give you. The Mac and cheese is still some of my favorite in town. There’s just something timelessly refreshing about the pineapple ginger beverage.

Stumbled upon this place as I was outside my hotel looking for lunch. They appear to be offering take out only at this time. I asked what was especially spicy on the menu and the jerk chicken was recommended. I have to day, it was wickedly spicy indeed! It tasted great whenever my tongue could cool off enough to function properly. The rice was not so fresh. The cabbage was good. I ordered a beef pattie in case I didn’t like the food, and it was also quite good. Portion size was extremely generous even though I ordered the small. Prices were very reasonable. I was not made to feel welcome. The wait staff did acknowledge me but offered no smiles or friendly welcome. There was a steady stream of customers, so I guess they won’t loose.

The customer service was good, the young lady was nice but I wasn’t happy with the food. It was warm, came out quick tho. The meat portion was small for $17 small. The ox tails was tender but it was one the curry chicken was decent. So I feel i didnt get my money’s worth. Or I’m not a rice type of gal so i don’t want half a plate of rice. The plantains were pretty good.

I agree the goat is a little salty. Still decent though. Good sorrel and god coco bread. Unpleasant on the phone and in person. Plantain very dry/not fresh zero sweetness, kinda like the customer service. Maybe they should be a food truck or something. Look stressed and uninterested in your money. Ialso never seen or heard of corn in the cabbage at a Jamaican spot but to each its own. Had the food been better I’d suffer the bad attitude and come back again but no thanks

The goat meat in the curry goat roti was very salty. And the next day I’m on the … So maybe this is a “me” problem, but I probably wouldn’t get it again. To their credit, they didn’t skimp on the meat, it was loaded up. Just too salty and not enough potato in the curry to balance the meal. And they also had a nice spicy pepper sauce on the side when I asked for it.

I literally just left there. The man working behind the bar was one of if not the rudest person I’ve ever encountered in my life. When I walked in with a smile I asked if I may use the restroom before I order. He looked at me with the most angry expression and said nothing. So I repeated myself and he literally said nothing. Then I noticed when I was in the bathroom that the soap dispenser was not working. Of course this is concerning because the employees should wash their hands before leaving the restroom. So when I came out I tried to explain this to him and he said in the most rude way that it works I just didn’t know how to use it. But I do know how to use a soap dispenser. It’s the kind you motion in front of or underneath. I tried both repeatedly. I explained this to him and he just kept repeating himself in the most angry tone and appearance. So I said I’m going to leave and go somewhere happier. I need to eat at and support places that are nice, appreciative and respectful to their customers. This is not that place. The lady working behind the counter wasn’t nice either.

The food is good but I got mostly bones on a$25.00 plate of curry goat. My husband also got two wings and two small chicken drumsticks on a lg plate… that’s disappointing for the cost… it’s good but not worth the price.

Worst Caribbean food in the whole wide world. Don’t go to this restaurant they are the rudest people alive. I had curry goat i had all bones and nothing but gravy full plate of rice and oxtail plate was also the same spent 62.76. Please don’t give them your hard earn money cause their food is not worth the price. It’s the worst food I ever experience. I wish this place will shut down. I wish all the people who see this please don’t spend your hard earn money here. McDonald’s at night time way better this restaurant. Never again this place will get my money
