Was out showing property today and stopped by for some lunch. I should have gone in but didn’t…When you go through the drive thru, don’t look for an order window, pull up to the side door and they will come out and take your order (or call it in). Everything was very good! Beans were flavored really well. It’s been awhile since I’ve eaten there. Next time I’ll go in though. Don’t forget to ask for cutlery, ketchup and butter for your roll! Our server even gave us ice cream! I want to come back for all you can eat crab legs if they still have it two times per month.

It’s hard to decide if the food or service is better. If your into seafood, why haven’t you been here! Also very affordable and a family friendly environment. Owner-operated by a very involved and caring individual.

Can’t go wrong at the shack! The fish is fantastic and the cheese burgers are too! If you are left hungry, then you didn’t order food! Prices match the service; excellent! It’s decently one of our favorite stops for lunch!!

We stopped in Friday evening late (like 45 minutes before closing) hoping we might still get dinner. We had never dined at the Fish Shack but we had some serious cravings for catfish and shrimp. There was a fair crowd already enjoying their meals. The Hostess assured us that we were by no means too late. “Come on in and relax and let us know when you are ready to order”. She was so sweet and efficient. I am so glad we decided to risk it.
I ordered the large catfish dinner, after being warned I may not be able to eat it all. It was the best catfish I have had outside my home state of Louisiana! Cooked and seasoned to perfection. My wife and her sister had the popcorn and butterflied shrimp, again very large portions. They asked for to go boxes right away. Silly girls – no boxes needed. They finished off those shrimp in style. Ok, I helped a bit. The sides; coleslaw, sweet potato fries, baked potato and side salad were great too. Our Hostess was not only sweet she was FAST – out of 5-6 refills on my soft drink I don’t think an empty glass ever hit the table before the next one was there beside it. Before we left, I had the chance to meet the owner Stacy, he was sitting at one of the tables talking to guests. I let him know that his restaurant was like walking into mom’s kitchen, so friendly, inviting and the best food around.
So good that we went back for lunch Saturday – my turn on those butterfly shrimp. My wife ordered a cheeseburger and was amazed that they were able to keep the patty juicy without any pink showing (a deal breaker for her).
Without hesitation we know where to go for seafood and burgers!!!

All I can say is wow!
My wife and I have found our new seafood restaurant. The food is incredible and the owner Stacy comes out and checks on his customers. The amount of food is piled high . Better have a latter. Lol. Nice job Stacy. Well be back soon. .

The ladies and staff here are so freaking amazing! I stupidly, wrapped my retainer in a napkin and left without it. Bless them for digging through the trash and finding it!!! They went above and beyond. Not to mention the foods is always on par and the wait staff are amazing on any day, regardless if you happen to have lost your retainer. Would recommend the Fish Shack to anyone for the best tasting catfish around.

Really good food. I first thought the prices were a little on the high side, then I saw the size of the portions and trust me, it is worth every penny!!!! Had carry out this time, but planning to eat in on the next trip!
