Ever see the show Cheers? Ever want to be at a bar like the one on Cheers? I’ve found it, Kennedys Public House is packed full with a friendly environment, multiple TV screens, multiple pool tables, free popcorn, and a full kitchen til 10pm, and great staff. Tonight was the first ever comedy night and a lot of comedians performed and I really enjoyed myself and I can’t wait for next Mondays comedy show

(In no particular order, dammit guys): Cris, Ashley, Abdi, Mark, Crystal, Dave, Jordan, Pablo… as a 20+ year industry lady and as someone who has moved to San Antonio within the last year, these people have become my family and taken incredible care of me. I work nights and that’s the only reason I’ve never had their food. But all of my coworkers rave about the wings! And the owners are such great people and pillars in the community. This is one of those pubs that can be cozy but is also a great party spot for events, watching the game, karaoke, happy hour fun, etc. Don’t miss out!

Place is awesome. it was my first time there. Comedy show on Monday was also VERY COOL and had lots of laughs!!!. I didn’t know they had that show so it was an added bonus… everything was great EXCEPT the drunk bartender…. Note to woman bartender with glasses ” drinking while on the job gets you 2 things. 1) no tips 2) a trip to the unemployment line”..

I came here last Monday (2/9) because I heard there was a new open mic hosted by Andrew Bernal. This was a great time! I had never been to Kennedy’s and I have passed it a million times. I’m glad I had an excuse to go in because this place was a ton of fun. Solid fish & chips as well!
But if nothing else, go check them out on Mondays @ 7 pm for the Comedy Open Mic. Super cool.

Moved here from another state and so glad I found this place, it felt like home. Really cool regulars, good drink prices, karaoke on Sundays. Awesome bartenders. Abdi and Crystal are the best. Always a good time when they’re working. Come here and you won’t be disappointed.

I’ve been to Kennedy’s quite a few times as I live in the area. The service is exceptional, and the food and drinks are absolutely delicious!!!
Bartender Ashley is a true professional, very skilled and attentive!!!
The music or any games can be a bit too loud for conversation, but other than that, it’s an awesome place!!!
The quesadillas and the wings are delicious!!!
This is the place to go if you want to relax after work or hang out with friends.

For Daddy-Daughter dinner tonight, we stayed within the Stone Oak area. I thought to check out @kennedysirishbar.
Ashley was the bartender and server who took care of us. Shiner draft was on happy hour for $3. Dad had Sprite. Dad and I shared both the Fried Green Tomatoes, and Fish and Chips. I really liked the tomatoes. It had the perfect breading. The fish was decent.
Jameson was also on happy hour but I didn’t get to try that. Ashley had suggested Jameson Orange. I’m curious to try next time.
