The donuts really are the best… towards the end of the week. Like Thursday through Sunday. You have to go early if you want a good selection. They are only open until 1 so don’t expect a good selection going after 11. I think the maple sprinkle white cake is the best donut I’ve ever had! I wish they were more consistent during the beginning of the week. I’ve gone in on a Monday/Tuesday n was very unhappy with my donuts but I like to support them! Always fast, friendly service! I live right by Voodoo n Angels but I happily make the drive to Donut Nook to get the best donuts I’ve had since I was a kid!

So sad. I was so excited to order here after reading all the rave reviews. I have been on a fruitless quest to find a really good raised donut in the area since I moved here 5 years ago. These ones looked so promising, and arrived looking tasty and clearly packaged with care. Then I took a bite, aaaand…. It’s bread. Literally bread. The exact taste and texture of a dinner roll, if you for some reason covered it in glaze. I couldn’t even eat it, and even the less discerning kids abandoned theirs after a bite. Wish I hadn’t ordered so many, as they’re all gonna be thrown away. I want to believe it was just a bad batch that happened yo be accidentally overproofed, but it’s not worth the risk to reorder. Sooo disappointing, I was so looking forward to a weekend treat. You can see in the photos how weirdly dense and bready they are. Yuck. Only gave an extra star because they packaged them nicely and it seems the service is good.

I’m surprised I haven’t done a review on this place since we first discovered it visiting my inlaws a few years back.
This is definitely one of the best donut shops I’ve been to. From the donuts to the fritters, everything is delicious. Customer service is great as well.

Still the best donuts in Vancouver by far, these are made with love. One tip is that you will need to come in early to make sure they still have stock. This place has been a Vancouver staple since I was a kid. Wish they still had the pumpkin spice donut. I will try next year. As many from Portland have seen, Vancouver is a strange place, where nook is king. The decor inside the building reminds me of being a child in Vancouver, old school roots.
