The Union Alehouse has the familiar feel of a neighborhood pub. The menu has a variety of appetizers, house specialties, burgers, salads, and a great selection of side orders. Check out the always changing daily specials board! The beer menu is impressive (there is a wide variety selections on tap and in bottles or cans). You name it, they have it: Porters, Stouts, American Ale, Belgian Ale, West Coast IPAs, Ciders, New England IPAs).

I had an amazing time at Union Alehouse with my friends! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere felt warm, lively, and welcoming—exactly the kind of spot you want for a fun night out. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, making sure our table was taken care of without ever rushing us.
The food was outstanding—everything came out fresh, hot, and full of flavor. The appetizers were perfect for sharing, and the mains were even better. The beer and cocktail selection was impressive, with something for everyone in our group. We loved being able to try a variety of local brews, and the bartenders really knew their stuff when it came to recommendations.

This is another staple in VB that l’ve visited many times before. They used to have an amazing brunch that’s sadly discontinued : so we decided to try them out for a nice casual dinner and the flavors were beyond what we could have hoped for. Our server was attentive and quick to help us find recommendations. We ordered their beer battered fish and chips that came out fresh and crispy! That’s the best combo. The other entree we ordered was the black and bleu burger (I’m a huge bleu cheese lover) and the crumbles added the perfect contrast with the savory patty. Also, those sweet potato fries are to die for and I couldn’t stop eating them! We went on Friday when they had live music, so it created a nice cozy feel for really anyone that wants an enjoyable night out with some good eats!

Im a regular at this establishment. Just about every Thursday and Saturday im here. If I were to explain my reason for coming, id have to mention Denise by name, praising her as friendly, personable, and fun, which contributed strongly to a positive visit. She’s quick, responsive, and always delivering the best drink as well as best “bar” advice.
Christian, my Thursday bartender, has always been able to provide me with the best surf advice and amazing food recommendations. Making this the best go to place for food and drink.

Just wow. We went to Union Alehouse for dinner last week and were blown away. The food was so good, our server (Andi? I hope I’m spelling her name right) was sweet and thorough, and the serving sizes were huge! You definitely get your money’s worth. Great, cozy atmosphere, too. Poutine was delicious, as was the giant pretzel (that mustard they made in house is crazy good!)! I got the fish & chips, my husband got the Philly cheesesteak. We were happy with everything we ordered. So much so that we ordered the $10 “round for the kitchen” staff. We’ll be back!
