Service by Alice was outstanding, she was very attentive and kind. The food was “ok” the taco shell for the salad was not good at all it was stale and had a “old” taste. The chips were good but should come with a side of dipping at no charge the charging of a small side does not make sense. Overall the service made the experience but the food did not.

First off I like to say I’m not the type to leave bad reviews, I usually just turn the other cheek, but this was a doozy. Ordered street taco trio that cost $10 plus $1.50 for it to be steak so 1150 plus tax came out to almost $13 and as you can see in the pictures that’s not much food for that price. Kids size tacos, not very much steak, The steak was bland and the chips were stale and old definitely not fresh and no salsa for the chips. The kid up front was pleasant, but the atmosphere seemed kinda blah and sad….not lively at all. In today’s climate people want to spend their hard earned cash and not feel cheated. First time last time, will never eat at any tj flats again, if this is their practice, no thank you. For reference I put in a photo of what a REAL Mexican street taco is supposed to look like, big, full, flavorful. Hell even Taco Bell has bigger tacos…. ok rant over.

Food is bad. They must have cooked the chicken next to shrimp because the chicken tasted like fish. 2 of the meals were missing sour cream. The churro fries were burnt and saturated in oil. The sauces are good. Staff friendly. For the price and quality of food we wont be back.

I hate to give a bad review…. So I’ll start with the good: The flavor of the Steak Burrito was fantastic! It was very yummy!
But: We waited 25 min for 3 regular Burritos. That’s a long time when you’re hungry.
Also, I do expect my burrito to be filled like in the advertisement. I included a picture. There was a decent amount of steak in there, but almost no rice.
The lady working there was very friendly.

First time at this location. Alyssa (sp) who took our order could not have been any nicer. I made separate orders to use points and she took her time, read every order back perfectly and even came to our table to see how we were doing. A couple of hiccups getting our order from the kitchen but she promptly took care of everything.
Again the sevice was great.

It was the only restaurant around with no one in it, and I should’ve been smarter. The friendly service can’t save this place from how terrible the smell and food is. The restaurant smells like old wet socks. The tacos came out cold, the meat was old and dry and they didn’t have the decency of warming it slightly toasting the tortillas. The queso dip also had this strange bitter taste to it that completely threw me off. I would highly suggest not coming here.

I came on a Thursday & Alyssa was at the counter. She was very pleasant even with the people waiting since she was by herself up front. She was very calm and made sure she. Verified my order. She even brought me a refill. The rice was a little bland but overall my food was hot and fresh. I was hesitant about this location based on the reviews but with a little patience my experience was worth the wait . Alyssa was amazing . Thank you for being so patient.

This was a great Tijuana Flats experience, whoever it was that was there I could tell that they were just starting and they were amazing with customer service understood they’re still learning the system a little bit, but she was amazing with her customer service wow I was blown away. And the food here was great for a Tijuana Flats I thoroughly enjoyed all of it the taco was well stuffed and so was I afterwards. 10/10 will be coming back again.
