Our first time dining! We were completely impressed with the incredible food and specialty offerings, plus the drinks were well prepared. Service (Erin) was friendly and very efficient. I was able to maneuver my scooter easily without interfering with the wait staff, that’s a big plus, since I cannot easily transfer into a dining room chair. Clams on the half shell plus calamari for starters Grey Goose martinis with Blue Cheese olives, perfect. Veal marsala, Shrimp Andrea and Black Sea Bass were plentiful and delicious and we look forward to a return visit soon. I can’t honestly speak to the Friday Trio, cause unless you’re sitting at the very huge bar, you can’t hear it. My only drawback, I’m handicapped and couldn’t use the bathroom? I couldn’t get my scooter in to help me then get up? Plenty of parking and I got lucky to get the first spot allowing me to use the retractable ramp in my van without interference. We will probably revisit and deal with the lack of bathroom accessibility! The meal was really worth it. Atmosphere is loud!

We started with the stuffed mushrooms. Absolute classic. Then came the artichoke Francese and I’m not exaggerating when I say it might be the best I’ve ever had. Perfect amount of lemony buttery sauce and yes we asked for extra on the side because that bread deserved a dip situation.
For mains we did the chicken marsala and the chicken special and both were exactly what you want from an old school Italian spot. Comforting. Rich. No notes.
Also do not sleep on their surf and turf special on Monday and Tuesday for $28.99. This is a true New Jersey Italian food joint. If you’re down the shore get there.

Best restaurant at the Shore. Food was absolutely delicious. Classic italian food with a fantastic specials menu, and the price was right. Made our food fresh from scratch, and you could taste the difference. Location is great and had a romantic feel. The servers were on the ball, attentive and courteous. Always there to help. Can’t wait to go back.

Was in the mood for Sunday Sauce/Gravy, so I decided to stop in at Fratello’s. As chance would have it, they had recently updated their menu to include Sunday Sauce, which was absolutely amazing! Sauce/Osso Buco/Sausage/Meatball. Oofah! Fabulous. Highly recommend. ❤️

we just had a surprise 90th birthday party at Fratello’s in a reserved space. Everyone was wonderful the food was delicious , the staff was beyond helpful and accommodating. Mike was great to deal with for booking the reservation and selecting a menu, and then extremely helpful during the event. Kathleen our waitress communicated how everything would flow for the day and was ontop of making sure everyone had what they wanted/needed. Highly recommended having an event with them at Fratello’s or even just stopping by for dinner.

We love this place because it’s the real deal. The vibe here is seriously warm and welcoming. It all starts with Chris, the owner, who isn’t just a face on the wall—he’s out there hustling every night to make sure your experience is a good one. If you’re lucky enough to get Susan as your waitress, you’re set. She’s a real gem who guarantees excellent service on top of the already delicious food. From the owner to the fun atmosphere and dedicated staff, Fratello’s is absolutely a local treasure.
